Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies (2023)

Not as bad as they say

Granted it's not Glee. But I'll take it. It's fun and peppy. Acting is no better than the original. And you really shouldn't complain. The diversity is noticeable and welcoming. Get over all the unrealistic portrayals. What you mean is everyone is not white. I think it has potential. Granted I didn't know Balinsiaga was around in the 50's but so what. High school was never this fun. Granted I loved the original but at least in this version they look like teenagers. ONJ and Travolta looked 30 or better in the original. Sit back and just enjoy. It's fun and silly and I think captures the fun of the original.

The Last of Us (2023– )

Confused

I'm a little confused by all the praise. I've struggled to finish the first episode found it slow. After two attempts I finished it. I was thinking well, maybe it gets better. I just watched the second episode and I'm still thinking that. I am not a gamer so that history means nothing to me. I had actually never heard of the game. I love Pedro Pascal. I've liked him in everything I've ever seen him in. So I'm just confused why does everyone think this is the best show ever?? I'm gonna watch episode 3. I've read all about how perfect the episode is. But if I'm still "it will get better". I think I'm done. I want to like it but, I just don't-so far.

I just love this show. It's not perfect but close enough. It has all the feels of a old CW show but with enough newness to make it feel fresh.

Now I've learned this (season 4) will be the last season. I really hope it doesn't end on a cliffhanger. A sad send off of a really great show. I love all the love stories esp the gay love story-it's brought tears to my eyes more than once. The story is good and the acting is great. To me nothing to dislike.

I thought parts of this movie was as funny as it gets. Not everyone gets satire. I'm even a white guy and I get the satire in this movie. You should try it. It's worth the try.

This was a joy.

Very well acted and the casting was dead on. Kate Is spot-on as well as John Cameron Mitchell (who knew he could pull this off) after Hedwig this is right up there.

Sure the story is crazy and hard to believe but I enjoyed the documentary and I really enjoyed this series.

I thought it was handled with respect for everyone

I highly recommend this.

Not sure about some of the reviews here. I'm not a binge watcher but did watch this all in one evening. I thought the characters were well drawn, and the story was interesting. Something I had ent seen before. I'm hoping for a second season. These are characters I'd like to know more about.

I don't know if enjoyed is the right phrase. But I watched all episodes pretty quickly. It's just a sad sad story. But if the gun wasn't there the crime probably wouldn't have happened. We should all learn that sad fact. Why would you show a 13 year old boy a gun let alone a AK! What were those people thinking? That should be the bigger ask?

Don't get the negative stuff. I thought it's a great start to another great story. While I'm not a fan of some of the actors particularly a female actress daughter of a model.... I thought this was a great start looking forward to the rest of the season.

Lots of opinions on here but let me say I found this to be more on the brilliant side. The acting is spot on the story they tell us spot on. The children perform above the norm. They are amazing little actors. The scares are there too. I found this to be amazing. The funeral scean where they switch from adult to children is amazing !! Over all. This in my opinion is about perfect. A great slow burn horror. But what stands out is the acting. Everyone brought their A game. The kids are amazing little actors. What he this get out of it what. You will. Hopefully you'll see the brilliance of it.

Midnight Mass (2021)

One hell of a series...

This is one hell of a series. I love it. It's dark, moody, bloody, and I'm hooked. I'm not a binge watcher at all. I'll watch one episode a day but so far today I've watched 4 episodes in a row something I never ever do. This is great story great acting and I am truly shocked sometimes by the story which never happens.

Give this a watch it's worth it.

Nancy Drew (2019–2023)

While I wanted this to be another Vampire Diaries or Supernatural. It's not. But it's not as bad as some on here are saying. I like the ghost elements added to the story and I think the stories are ok. It's just some of the characters are not drawn to well. The actors try their best but the material they have while has improved as the season progresses is not great. But I still watch. It's enjoyable and gets better but I'm not invested in it like I get for some series (Vampire Diaries to be one). But give it a try.

I really am enjoying this season as will all them. Good characters and lots of plot twists. Love the dick dock!! So random. Also love the kidnapping and that whole mess. But the singing by the two characters is the best!!! Would love to go to that restaurant!! Story just gets weirder and better.

I like this show. I like most of the characters. But the reporter dude??? He's an awful person. Nothing is off limits to the betterment of his career. Selfish doesn't care who he hurt s to get what he wants. Bravo to the boyfriend who sees him for what he is.

I don't understand why this movie is so hated. Yea it's not the best by far, but I always enjoy it. I mean have you seen Jaws 3? This is by far a better movie. I like Mrs. Brody and it's always good to see Lance Guest. And Michael Caine is always good. I think the problem with this movie is the title and tag line. That is just stupid. They should have just called it Jaws 4 and been done with it. Anyway, watch it, it's worth a look as far as I'm concerned. Skip Jaws 3 and go to 4.

You don't watch a show like this for realism. It's like the Goonies, it's fun , good characters and a fun story. If you want reality watch a documentary. This was a great episode so far I thought this season is great and dreading the end.

I am a huge fan of the original but I love the remake!!! It's modern and fresh love the political comments (cause I agree with them). Great characters love Liz love love love the boy on boy love. They took a great show and made it 10 times better. So looking forward to the next season.
