The Day After Tomorrow (2004)
BETTER IN 2020
GRETA WILL SAVE US
Movie done so well. Maybe in 2004 it was a 6.4 but now it is chilling, a full 10. Effects, acting, story, the whole thing was gripping. Now we're sitting with the new Black Plague crawling across the planet, Koala Bears and kangaroos burning, clearly we need this movie urgently now to wake us up to our twisting tenuous reality.
Ford v Ferrari (2019)
Put Me in the Car
I sat down front with the surround hi-tech sound vibrating my whole body as the revs passed 7000 causing my adrenaline to kick me into high gear. And the movie was good too: acting supreme, the car fast beyond imagination, and the people just as real, keeping me riveted to the screen 'til the very end. I don't doubt that was exactly how it played out.
The only downside was that every time I instinctively reached for the gear shift, it was on the other side. But I'll get it right after a few more laps!
Hare Krishna! The Mantra, the Movement and the Swami Who Started It All (2017)
Your Fortune
There is nothing more powerful, more beautiful. There is nothing more wonderful, more satisfying. There is nothing more real than the ocean of love of God flowing throughout the world from the presence of God's name. Reach for the top, and find your eternal self. Get real, life is wonderful beyond our imagination.
For the Love of Spock (2016)
Essential!
Great job, Adam. Spock always brought the best of humanity to us - from far far away. So many lives were enhanced by our Mr. Spock. Thank you for reminding us.
Star Trek Into Darkness (2013)
Genuine Genius
After just finishing viewing all movies and the last season of every Star Trek follow-up, at the end of my space adventure, only this movie remained. Tonight I was delighted, often in tears, by this movie. The acting, story, everything was beyond everything before, yet everything before was Trek class. Somehow they took it to a level far beyond where no man has gone before.
