A Marriage of Convenience (1998 TV Movie)

beautifully paired by surprise and you got a great movie..

i had to watch this twice ...as i was engulf by the story and how they were initially hinged each other and of course.. the lead actors carried their roles effectively but the most important pointer is the chemistry between the lead actors.. it made me feel i had butterflies in my stomach.. i love watching them interact and not to forget the revelation handsome boy who was the culprit to all the innuendos in the movies..plotting not against but FOR his guardians.. i mean parents sort of... Just cant stop liking this movie..a bit cheesy but ultimately wonderfully done... all the scenes will capture your liking.. til the end... 5 thumbs up for fun , romantic, all family made movie for this one...

i wonder what others expected from title like DIRTY GRANDPA?/

One thing comes to mind is like dirty old men.. right ??

So we expect Grand pa to play dirty tricks on young girls.. right??

I just love the tandem of De Niro and Efron .. they have totally opposite characters but they click outright funny to see how Zac is always giving excuses from his grandpa's shortcomings.. and grandpa is telling Zac to let it go ...

if you like lousy dirty movies .. this one is for you..

Fun Fun Fun.. they both did their part successfully...

i give it 5 thumbs up for effort to be dirty... i mean dirty but entertaining... yes i love it...

This is one movie which will appeal to people who like Trance music /trance tech music which i readily relate to..as i'm a big fan of trance..

I was surprised that inspite of the dancing ..this is a "not-bad" story line at all..

Im all so carried away with the music that i just might be partial to this movie.. but having said that the story is something to reckon with .. yes i love the 3 lead actors in the movie... kinda shock that one of the friends actually died of drug overdose... kinda sad .. as these friends are doing their best to achieve goals set in their lives and it happen sadly..

Inspiring definitely... i was surprise how he concocted the music , sound effects and all related to his experience in life.. that's like a big WOW... it gives me the chill after i heard the final music...

i warn people who does not like dance music not to watch this film or even attempt to put their comments as i don't see the point.. its like watching an atheist giving their comment on a religious film ...

we let people who appreciates music films to review this film .. then we listen once again..

I always go back and watch this movie ..and i wonder why..

I love when the movie started with parents and son bonding showing how close they are to each other.

The son played by Floyd.. is seemingly naive and newbie in his initial life's journey .. 1st job, 1st adventure as an adulthood and of course the 1st and the last girlfriend... He played this part effectively as he does have a nice looking face (reminds me of John Ritter's innocence) handsome and statuesque as ideal for every girl's dream man.. The lead actress on the opposite is also convincingly hateful to watch and she did good in her role..cold and sweet ,angry and sweet ..one word to describe her... psychotic... and it runs in the family as her mother hit her dad on the smallest gesture that he said that may have offended him..

I believe timothy saw this but chose to ignore as Love spells is all around him only in the end that he decided to leave her for good...

I still hate her ( she stole this movie) for killing timothy as someone like Timmy i was thinking he was my son .. oh my i could have done more and furious to the maximum level ... for what she did..

As you read my comments you will know that this movie is worth watching and every minute gears you to the chair as to what will happen next... 5 thumbs up ...

( i do believe Patty duke acting was laid back in her emotions somehow in this movie although i have always been her fan for all the roles she played..)

I watch a movie is to enjoy what i see..period..

i seldom incorporate too much reality into details unless it is obvious... like i live in the Philippines and our situation may not be the same as people living in Los Angeles.. so i enjoy this movie for what i see as possible.. not considering what people in L.A. may have experience an entirely different thing (actuality)

Just one curiosity .. when Kim Bassinger cut the armpit of the man and told him he will die instantly and feel numb all over his body.. is this true?/ anyway i love the movie and enjoy the trip through and through.. Chris Evans was a newbie in this film and he did well for a whatever training he had ...not to mention his good looks is a plus factor as the cameraman is like 90% on his face .. capturing all his emotions.. he did pretty fantastic in this aspect..

Kim is all jittery and shaky in her voice.. and i love her acting and her eyes are seemingly teary all the time as emotions filled mother would have been...

I felt bad if we see entertaining the it is entertaining for all its worth.. love to say this.. IT'S JUST A MOVIE...sit back and relax..

the ingredient of an awesome worthy of watching TV movie is here... two perfectly crafted being matched by circumstances... and walla.. they are linked forever..

i kept thinking that Anotnio Cupo looks so familiar and after googling his name i notice he has already aged gracefully in some of the hall mark newer movies but all the same he is so gorgeous and the actress

miss Leighton smart portrayal of her independent character was well presented here and i just love her for wanting to have the baby afterbirth... oopps no spoiler please...

it may be just a TV movie but the movie is gripping .. not a boring second to waste... watch it and you will find out why...

I could not help myself liking the love story between human and spirit... similar to the unforgettable Chinese ghost love story but they have improve since then 20 so years after this is the new generation of CGI effects ...

I love the part the snake pointed out some spirits are not all bad and human can be worse... I'm a love sick person when it comes to true love ...whew... the last part before they part ways.. no one can deny that this may have been one of the best scene ever made... its filled with emotions .. when the leading man recalls... just so breath takings emotional ...

I go back to watch this movie whenever i chance by it again and again and again ...

Fresh actors portrayed the four leading roles as human and spirit interact.. the music scoring and the main theme love song has given more impact to the dramatic impact in this movie...

Watch it and i know you will agree... Jet li played the major part as the sorcerer but the 4 actors( the lady snakes+ doctor+ monk) stood from the rest ...

This is one of if not the best acted out JUDD ASHLEY movie however i have some scenes i don't understand...i was surprised how she blossom into a fine actress...she should have gotten her Emmy's...

Opening scene, is the boat filled with blood and she woke up and her husband is gone...

Next scene she was ruled out as the murderer of her husband... which i doubt the credibility since no actual Body was found , how could the court ruled as murder??? shouldn't it be Missing??

of course eventually, the husband was alive and change entirely his image and name and state of residency .... how about the son Matty?? did he changed also his name?

During the funeral meet up with Matty?? of all the places why cemetery ? and go hide and seek?? of course we know what happens next ...

Although this is a very mind twisting movie and i entirely love watching it inspite of some set-backs.. i would recommend it and you be the judge...

I cried for all the lead characters as how they portray the roles...

the father who cried after hearing his adopted son's phone call and he click repeatedly to hear his voice over and over again ...

the mother who cried and was overwhelmed with emotions after she found the real mother who gave shelter to her adopted son...

the real mother who's son was stolen from her who read the surprising letter from a stranger she thought otherwise...was really her son.

Tons of tissues will have to be handy while watching this film..

the lead actor ( the son) is excellent in his portrayal of a child who is truly confused and torn emotionally apart by circumstances beyond his control( i always wondered how it felt to be adopted??)...also meeting the real brother is an interesting part of the movie how they

differ in characters.. specially when the sibling had differences ...without knowing they are related to each others..

Every minute of the movie keeps you glued on the screen on what will ever happens next..

Eventually, the answer to the questions about adopted children pops up..." where do they belong??? to the real parents or the adoptive parents???? who will he choose?

i know i got my answer and i agreed to it... its like i'm at peace with myself( i have an adopted son) ... at last.. one movie that justifies this kinda situation... thanks so much...

Just in Time for Christmas (2015 TV Movie)

I watched this movie like 10 times already and i can't help but becoming emotional towards the end .... the wedding scene is like the director must have known .. it focuses on the emotion of the lead actress as she misses all the loved ones during her 3 year after travel... loosing the chance for a blissful wedding, her mother heart attach, every success meant nothing for her if she has no one to share it with... i don't want to spoil the story but eventually you will know that this is one of those cliché movies that in the end everything is good... but it was the way the director focused on her emotions.. every scene you could feel her regrets... thats priceless... i just love how she was happy and giggling after she came back from the future... i love her every scene.. whew... watch this and you will love it.. it should be a classic Christmas love story... in the line of scrooche and miracle on the 42nd street ... time travel story never seize to amaze me on the what if's, what could have been's of one's Life journey...

By far , one of the best heartfelt story for Christmas or anyone who somehow lost a love one and the saddest moment is to spend Christmas without that person... oh my .. it is hard for me to type this as it is...

Mystery started when the father hit his car on the road and met a backpack guy (Mathew) who helped him carry the Christmas tree ... and requested the guy to spend the night and to pretend that he knew his lost son john who joined the gulf war and died...

Now , when Mathew met the mother and the daughter , he pointed things out about john which surprises the father how come he knew things about his son...

Don't miss the last part.. i know i was definitely surprised ....

I just love TV-Movies .. they concentrate on the story line and the characters.. its as if you can feel the intense emotions from the actors... i just wonder ...if i were William Devan ( the father) i would have been so emotional i mean , i like his blank look but i was hoping some suppressed tearful acts will definitely moved the audience as he is the veteran star in this movie ...

But all the same , i loved this movie to death .. i kept a copy in my heart... i had to repeat the last part to hear what they say to each others...
