Christmas Eve on Sesame Street (1978)
The Best!
I am 53 years old and still watch this! My children watched it in a VHS and now we stream it! This is what the magic of Christmas is. I am so glad I grew up with Sesame Street. No drama. No politics. Just good, festive fun. Gather your family and watch this beautiful, funny, touching Christmas movie! The songs are so beautiful. We still know all the words! I always sing the " Keep Christmas With You" song to my children after Christmas. My favorite is Bert, but Kermit makes a surprise appearance here too. Each of my kids has a favorite scene. Watching this year is bittersweet, as Bob recently passed.
A Christmas Story Christmas (2022)
Don't Believe The Good Reviews!
Awful. Horrible. Disappointing. Pointless. I could go on. But I have already lost almost two hours of my life to this excuse of a movie. This had so much promise. It failed miserably. It made no sense. And if I had children young enough to be affected, I would be furious! How dare they spoil the magic??!! The actress playing the mother is horrible. She bore no resemblance to the original actress in looks or behavior. This movie made me sad. I hope to just forget I watched it. The only bright part was the actress who played the wife. Skip this one. Watch Lindsay Logan's Christmas movie instead!
Noelle (2019)
Oh My Garland!
How long has it been since a truly good family Christmas movie was released?! Noelle is it! Anna Kendrick shines as bright as the North Star in this one. I laughed and cried. Snuggle by the tree with some hot cocoa and peppermint and enjoy!
In the Tall Grass (2019)
No. Just No.
I don't write reviews. This one made me. I cannot in good conscience allow any coherent individual to suffer through this hot mess. Sometimes you read a review of a movie that is so bad, you want to watch it to see just how bad it is. Please don't with this one. Grass. Yelling. Grass. Screaming. Cal. Becky. Travis. A rock. Darkness. Chanting. There. That's it. You're welcome.
A Quiet Place (2018)
Intense And Original
Just returned from a packed showing of A Quiet Place. Amazing acting. Intense and original plot. Free of unnecessary explicitness that seems to plague most movies. Loved it!
Bad Tutor (2018)
Failing Grade!
Trust me, I love a good Lifetime movie. This is not one of them. Bad acting. Worse storyline. Totally implausible, even for Lifetime. This is a fail.Big time!
