A Man Called Otto (2022)
Brilliant brilliant film
Just love it! It doesn't matter which film is better, which version is better. All it matters, did I enjoy? Absolutely! It's so good. I laughed, I cried and I smiled. Brilliant film!!
Tom was magnificent as always. Marisol is my favourite character, she was adorable and I love everything about her. She was very good considering I've never seen her act before. Don't take any notices from any negative comments, people are either comparing the movie version or talking about Tom different acting. It's all blah blah blah with comparison. I'm telling you I've seen so many movies and this is brilliant.
Titanic (1997)
Titanic movies is a huge success!!
Oh my god, even though I've seen it many times but it never gets boring. Saw it the first time at the cinema and it was the most brilliant film!! Music was also phenomenal, and I cried every time when I hear "my heart will go on" and "nearer my god to thee". I rarely cry from music. If you haven't seen it and you saw my review, make sure you put the tv or surround sound on loud and you will enjoy it even more. I was in my teenage when I watched with around 20 of friends from school at the cinema, and few boys felt embarrassed cos they got caught crying their eyes out hahaha.
A massive well done to all the actors for doing a brilliant job, and James Cameron anothet fantastic movies.
Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody (2022)
My al times favourite singer
It doesn't matter if not everything is 100% accurate. Perhaps, family likes to keep some few things out before you rate under 5.
Naomi embodied Whitney SOOOOO well, whitney would have been proud of her. Story was great, it was still sad Whitney life was over too young. She was the biggest selling artist and most successful singer. I'm just glad to see a movie about her, end of.
I cried couple of times cos it's hard to see how difficult her life was and it's never that easy to start fresh with lack of support. Things could have been handled better, her husband Bobby was awful and huge mistake to be with. Whatever happened, I'm always proud of Whitney and she'll always be my favourite girl.
The Cure (1995)
Most heartwarming AIDS movie ever
I've seen several movies about different stories that involves AIDS. I have not heard of this movie until somebody mentioned 'And the band played on' which is about CDC and AIDS pandemic (very well played, great acting and pretty much true story). Anyway this movie came up as a suggestion after I googled up And the band played on, and oh my goodness it was the most heartwarming movie EVER!
Even though as a gay man myself I know there is no cure and I also know many people were evil or doesn't respect people who has AIDS back in the 80s and early 90s especially they thought it was some kind of gay disease that only gay people get it.
From what I see, it's a miracle to have such a wonderful friend who both doesn't have any friends and made each other happy every day. I don't need to keep brag on cos I'll cry again, I've ever cried that much in a long time.
This is truly one of the best film I've seen in ages and I'm glad I've seen it. I totally recommend it!!
RuPaul's Drag Race UK: Snatch Game (2019)
Best UK snatch game ever
Best snatch game since drag race season 7 in my opinion. I've never laughed so much from Donald Trump and Margaret Theresa. It was phenomenal, 10/10!!
A Quiet Place Part II (2020)
Seriously brilliant!
Oh my god, I can't believe all those negative reviews. All of them people are expecting too much. What do they know about directing the movies? I tell you, nothing! I loved the first movie, the second one was just as brilliant! I love how the girl teach people how to communicate if they can't sign. I would know as I'm a deaf person myself, I can communicate perfectly but I always taught people to use enunciate.
Honestly, it's a great film. Watch it and enjoy it. Don't overthink about any expectations like all those losers with negative reviews.
Prayers for Bobby (2009)
Every parents and young people MUST watch this
Sigourney had a really difficult and heartbreaking interview with Bobby's mother, she has been living her life with guilt and how she wished she should have listened to her kid. The mother doesn't want any parents to make the same mistake and she was very happy about prayers for bobby.
This is why I think that movie is high rated, even though it's painful to watch, I cried so much and Sigourney was absolutely magnificent. Seeing the struggles of how much people love the family, the hatred, feeling trap, living the life with fear and silence. It'll just destroy people life living. Every gay people should never try and do anything stupid and talk to someone, even someone at the bar if it help for some people. If parents can't accept it then that's their losses and hopefully they will come around.
Say Yes (2018)
Possibly the best LGBTQ movie for me
I don't watch many gay films but this one really impressed me!! It's included on amazon prime now if you have amazon prime and not want to know too much details here.
Sorry for the spoiler, your choice if you want to keep reading.
I've seen some films about 'c' (I hate that word, so I used C instead) and choosing not to go ahead with treatment and decided to make the most of it. But I gotta admit this was different, even I was surprised. But again, it kinda makes sense in a weird way eventually and incredibly nice. Although some people might not be impressed or understand about the moment they had sex, but sometimes when people lost their mind or lost someone, they do thing they regret even if it's small. I've almost done worse.
The storyline was beautiful, great scripts, good actors. I even cried a little!! Haha
Hidden Figures (2016)
Gold star drama film
First of all, you need to ignore all the negative reviews. Them people are either simply over-opiniated, high expectation or simply being criticised about white or black people. This film is super fantastic, even I choked up with tear a few times. All them actress are brilliant, the film is brilliant. Just watch it and enjoy it
Man of Steel (2013)
Biggest movie I've ever watched
For me, one of biggest, highly successful and best action movie by far! Some people might not like too much action, but we can't always have movie with lack of action, it's about adventure, explosion, and firework!
Don't worry about what other people say, I love original superman and I love man of steel even more.
The story was outstanding, the characters was brilliant and action was shocking and unbelievable.
Very impressed and can't wait to see the next one.
Well done to everyone based on their work with man of steel
