Three Thousand Years of Longing (2022)
Thank you George Miller!
Thank you George Miller for this wonderful movie.
I cannot be objective here.
I totally loved this movie.
It made me laugh, it made me cry.
If I have to find a weak point I would only refer to the storytelling, it was slightly boring at some moments but I got quickly back to the film so I will not focus there.
At the end I couldn't believe its already over and it was a long film. Didn't realise the time at all while watching.
This only can be enough for me to say, I totally loved it.
Tilda was amazing as always, she and the director of course are the reasons I wanted to see that movie. Her power, her unique face and talent gave this film quite the most of its energy.
Its not about magic here, its about love and letting go. But you will figure out that for yourself.
Atlantide (2021)
I'm sorry but it felt like a waste of time to watch.
Very difficult to wright 600 characters for this film as an audience, believe me, that's why I suppose nobody did, until now.
I'm not a film maker neither a critic but I love watching films and I appreciate a lot the films that can be at the same time meditative, slow, mesmerising but also having something to say and a good sense of taste!
What I know about this film is that I got so bored, so tired watching it that from a point and then I was just waiting for the end to come as my great redemption.
I got angry.
I got dizzy with the camera.
The only good thing was the water element, the music and the beautiful Venice but also that became at the end a nightmare to watch.
I don't know what the director had in mind making a 100minutes film like that, maybe as a short film could have said much more.
But I am not here to tell any director what to do, it was just not at all convincing for me and it got un ugly turn in my mind and stomach!
Thanks for reading, I just got out of the dark room and had to wright something about it because it made me crazy.
Blue My Mind (2017)
Don't watch the trailer please!
It's a movie that you have to watch without getting any further information about it.
"An inspired girly teen movie" should be enough as a headline. This is how I did it and I really enjoyed it, I love good teen movies because hey, we've all been there before and we know how it felt like. And this one made it to get me some interesting emotional flashbacks. It has everything you want to see in a teen movie, the "cool" guys ans girls, the difficulty to fit in, the need for sex, the need for freedom, the need to understand what the hell is going on with yourself and to do whatever you feel like no matter how crazy it is. And of course the greatness of a good friendship that can save your life...
Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga (2020)
The perfect comfort movie
What else can I ask for? Lots of loud laughs, funny, crazy, sweet moments, some singing and elves (which you never see but they are there)! And although I am not a fan of the real Eurovision I loved this! Will Ferell rocks!
Neko no ongaeshi (2002)
Loved it!
I live cats and I love studio Ghibli films.
So this combination sounded like a winner to me and indeed, it is the best cat film I have ever seen after Aristocats!
The strong connection between cats and humen and at the same time two completely different worlds.
Lovely characters, funny and beautiful!
I would watch it again anytime!
All the Bright Places (2020)
Something is missing
Was it that I didn't like the end? Yes, somehow I didn't. It is like the film didn't lead me at all to that very end in a way that would touch me, affect me or make me cry. It is like the movie ends and I have no feelings and I am pissed off about that. I literally couldnt believe the end. Its not something that happens to me quite often when I watch a film, that's why I was a bit shocked. Because normally if I don't like a movie I stop watching it and I don't wait to see the end to say how bad it was. But here it was different. It's not that I was amazed from the beginning but as I was about to get persuaded that it is not a bad film and started enjoying the story the end scene came and I got totally lost and disconnected. Its like the story so far and the information I had about the characters wasn't enough for me to accept that end.
