Unchained: The Untold Story of Freestyle Motocross (2016)
Well-done documentary. Anyone who likes the smell of petrol will enjoy it
I'm not a huge fun of FMX but I do admire and appreciate these modern day gladiators' courage, skills, agility, fearlessness and I enjoy offroad riding so once I spotted this documentary on Netflix I had to watch it.
The movie gives a detailed background story on one of the most dangerous sports on the planet ( made me close my eyes at one point). Eventhough it is a documentary, I felt more emotions than watching most of the thrillers as there are tens of scenes where you cringe, want to look away, but at the same time you want to see if he'll pull it off.
I went to London Red Bull X-fighters in London years ago and now when I learned the back story I am even more impressed Hats off to these legends and their skills a pleasure to watch. Highly recommend it.
Diego Maradona (2019)
Watch it if you want to learn the truth about the legend and the reason why his life was ruined - surprisingly not by drugs.
I'm not a football fan but I appreciate people's talent, passion and perserverance. I've seen 1000+ movies, have rated more than 500 of them but only 3 of them got the rating of 10/10 - this is one of them. Hope this shows how important this movie is. If you think it will only show some old football footage mixed with cocaine scandals you are very wrong. We have a chance to see many layers of Diego Maradona's lif; his background, his struggles, his weaknesses, his victories and beyond-human desire to win and proove people wrong.
It is a tragic story showing once again that people are just mostly pure evil. Without thinking twice they ruin someone's life because he did one thing against their will and forget about all the success, joy and emotions he brought them.
