Path of Destruction (2005 TV Movie)
Made for TV SciFi Thriller that falls short.
3 October 2006
The comments from the honorable member from California pretty much sum this movie up, except he missed the most important factor, Danica McKellar. With Danica in the movie, it made it all worthwhile. Heck, I have seen far worse movies with worse actors than this movie. B_Movies are just that, b movies and should be taken with a grain of salt, not torn apart for the lack of technical goodies. Heaven knows we have enough of those already. As for me, I hope it makes it to DVD. The last time I checked Amazon, it wasn't there, not yet anyway. Fans of Danica, let your voices be heard, demand this one make it to DVD. To be fair, it does fall a little short in areas, but good old David is making an effort, but he seems to be doing a lot of bad films, also playing the bad guy way too much. Michael Cory Davis does a good job with what he was handed to work with. Watch with an open mind is all I can.

The New World (2005)
6/10
Beautiful scenery mixed with bad sound
5 June 2006
In order to say something good about this movie, I will first say the location was great, the scenery was beautiful, and the soundtrack was one of the few things I could hear clearly. Not to take anything away from Colin, he needs to learn to deliver his lines without mumbling and in the general direction of the mic. The leading lady was a real gem and once she learns to speak up will hopefully replace some of the plastic leading ladies that are out in Hollywood today. OK, I admit my dislike of the movie was pretty much based on the sound, some of the acting, and lack of action. If you want a good movie in this genre, check out "BlackRobe" which a far better movie.

Ted Bundy (2002)
8/10
The life of Ted Bundy in under two hours.
15 December 2004
I liked this version of the Ted Bundy story. Move Mark Harmon to this movie, rather than the T.V. movie he starred in and you have a even better movie. Bottie Ann Bliss does a remarkable job as Ted's girlfriend. I suppose hanging out with serial killers landed her a role on CSI Miami. The movie is dark and brooding, but you would expect that from a movie about a serial killer. The movie does have a fairly explicit sex-scene, so you might want to put the little ones to bed before watching. It is a little heavy for children anyway. Over-all and without giving anything away, this is a fine movie version about Ted Bundy's life. Rent it and watch.
