Goodbye World (2013)

Here you have a bunch of bright educated people trying to deal with the supposed end of the world. What do they do? Nothing to increase their survival odds. Nothing to provide any kind of real security for themselves or the minor child. They sit around, smoke dope, entertain themselves with talent shows and argue. The lamest part was when a couple of thug soldiers come and demand their food/meds. Instead of them at least attempting to defend themselves or planning some course of organized action, the leader of the group goes it alone. He tries to talk to the people being led by the soldiers. He is nearly killed, saved at the last second by a woman who shoots one of the soldiers. Obviously the writers of the show know nothing at all about survival or what people will do in a real situation.

I watched a couple of episodes. One would have thought that the writers would have done a bit of research. First off the SS would never have had a strange MD operate on the President without full vetting. With that vetting, the son's drug dealing, the husband's affair and the daughter's romance would have all been discovered. More then likely the MD would have been passed over on those issues alone. Even if there were not these family issues, more then likely the SS would have at least been watching them 24/7 until after the surgery.

The show is contrived and not very realistic. Waste of good acting talent.

They Come to America (2012)

As you can see the people who value an honest look at illegal immigration take the time to write reviews, those that just want open borders and amnesty vote. The movie has 130 voters, but few reviews. This movie looks at the reality of illegal immigration and does it honestly and intelligently. In fact the truth and honesty revealed in this movie is so politically incorrect that the main stream left has went out of it's way to keep it from the public. Dennis M Lynch has had to distribute the movie himself because the Hollywood/movie theater distribution machine refused to do so. This movie presents the facts and the consequences of illegal immigration that the supporters of illegal aliens, amnesty and foreign workers cannot refute. This is one movie that every American should see, regardless of their political leanings.
