The Real Housewives of Sydney (2017)
Season One = Amazing. Season Two = Abortion
Get rid of all the women on the second season. They're crap. They don't make good television and they aren't interesting - no matter how many tiny molehills are made into enormous mountains that are then jammed down our throats.
Bring back Lisa Oldfield, that crazy Athena X chick, Victoria old lady drama maker, and the one whose face is frozen: Marty? Marty? Mandy?
Seasons two sucks, and sorry Joel Creasey - but your comedic excellence can't save this via a reunion. Also. It might be time to lose the bleach-blonde. You're 50 and it ain't doing you any favours on screen with that dead body complexion my man.
Can we just Chuck Janet Roach, Gambil, Lisa Oldfield, Maddy????, Athena X, Victoria, Chyka and Caroline (from this season) into a girls trip and be done with it?
And for gods sake - don't ever bring back Alex Perry and his Sunglass laden forehead for any more of this. There's enough trash on screen.
Jurassic World Dominion (2022)
A Great Conclusion In Every Way
I was stoked to see this epic saga brought to such a well thought out conclusion.
Everything about this film worked - it's homages, its animatronics vs. CGI, its plot and mystery, its twists and its character development... It all worked so well.
It felt like I was an 8 year old kid again watching Jurassic Park in the movie theatre again... But instead it was a movie in 2023 that didn't require me to overthink and guess every step and decide what I should be offended by - I was simply able to enjoy every scene and every minute.
I love that they brought new school and old school together, and still ticked every box that needed to be ticked.
Plus, that bloody scene with Bryce Dallas in the pond... Honestly! Some of these scenes were the most terrifying scenes since the 90's!!!!!!
10/10.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022)
So far, so good - But a long way to go...
There's obviously A LOT that needs to be set up, layed down and addressed both story and mythology wise - and due to that aspect I have patience. So far, the series seems pretty good! The visuals are stunning, and the actors are all great in my opinion.
I do like that we may have a Gandalf in Middle Earth origin story too, moulded into this storyline - even though it may not be correct in the adaptive sense.
I don't like the addition of the Harfoots. It seems a little unnecessary and too similar to a story that's already been told in LOTR.
But, we shall see.
As mentioned, so far, so good. I for one am excited to see how the series expands.
Spiderhead (2022)
Was it good? Or did it just have Chris Hemsworth in it?
This movie lacked any kind of hook, and had a lacklustre storyline that has been told and retold many times before.
Miles Teller is also very hard to watch.
Don't waste your time.
The King's Man (2021)
Terrible & Stupid
This film is stupid from start to finish, and completely nonsensical. Nothing is genuine or believable. Completely farfetched, trying to hard to be camp and cool. Don't waste your time. Awful!
Halloween Kills (2021)
Enough is enough
Really?
They're trying to set up ANOTHER movie... This series just needs to be put to bed, instead of being dragged out another 40 years.
Terrible.
Spoiler: Even Kyle Richards doesn't die and I think we all know that's why we wanted to see this.
Will & Grace (1998)
Debra is a Messing
What the actual hell happened to Debra Messing's acting skills?
The new episodes are so deplorably horrendous that they make me want to take forks to my eyes and ears.
Stop. Now.
His Dark Materials (2019)
Fantastic Adaption - Perfectly Made
This is a stunning, and well made adaptation of Phillip Pullmans masterpiece series! They have done such great justice of in casting and direction, as well as the beautifully dark way they've presented everything.
Truly, they've held true to the series of books and I recommend it highly to anybody that is a fan of the book series.
10/10
RuPaul's Drag Race Holi-Slay Spectacular (2018)
Just gonna say it: TERRIBLE
This holiday special was just so past nonsensical, it bordered on stupidity. A shame, considering the talented cast.
It was confusing and dry. Then "Michelle" & "RuPaul" lip sync...? Was it meant to be funny??? Were we meant to be fooled???
Judge for yourself, but this special really didn't live up to any of the hype.
