Chicago Fire (2012)
Very predictable show with characters tending to create their own problems.
Chicago Fire is a very interesting show. The drama and excitement is cool and entertaining but anything fire related, wether it be rescue tactics or department conduct is absurd and often cringe worthy. Every time a firefighter is injured it usually is because they did something reckless to create danger. I'm not sure the writers consulted a firefighter at all.
I've never been in a Fire Station where any of the members behave or work like those in this show. They paint firefighters as lazy, unprofessional, misogynistic, irrational, and obsessive. The action of this show may be great but the fire station culture shown here is sad and an embarrassment to the fire industry.
The Amber Ruffin Show (2020)
And the try hard of the year award goes to...
She thinks she is hilarious. She is alone in that thought. Humor is like a fart, if you have to force it, it's probably poop.
That is this show in a nutshell, poop.
