Liam: As It Was (2019)
Self indulgent apology to Noel
It started off well with the announcement at the Paris gig. Some really gritty insight that I was interested in as I hadn't seen it before.
But then it lost pace and was a pure attempt to prove that Liam wasn't the old idiot everyone loved/hated. I'm a diehard oasis fan but this felt like a feeble attempt to get Noel to talk to him again.
Liam has great musical talent but he needs to stop trying to do oasis without Noel.
I really wanted to see insight into the split and the aftermath. But this was just his manager/girlfriend chatting propaganda
The Haunting of Hill House: Silence Lay Steadily (2018)
Such a schmaltzy let down
I'm not a massive movie buff and not one to write reviews so I'll keep it simple.
I loved this series. It was the only show for years that had me putting my phone down and getting properly involved.
This last episode disappointed me because it was so neatly wrapped up and was all about family love. Very Stephen King to be fair but packed to suspense of all the other episode.
Still enjoyed it but it wasn't at the same level as the others.
