The Last Dance: Episode X (2020)
One of the best documentaries ever
This series had it all. Never before seen footage. Thrilling storylines. Heart.
No matter what people were going to be interested in this, but the way that the filmmaker put this together really cemented this as one of the all time greats. It puts so much into perspective for people who just didn't get it, and showed just how good Jordan and those teams were. I wish there was 10 more hours.
Chappelle's Show: The Love Contract & True Hollywood Stories: Rick James (2004)
One of the funniest episodes of TV ever
Charlie Murphy is a legend and is using all of his comedic talent here. Editing it with rick talking makes it one of the most perfect episodes of comedic tv I've ever seen
Ringo del Nebraska (1966)
Influence on other films
I watched this because Tarantino uses its influence on Leo's character in Once Upon a Time In Hollywood. I love watching the small and virtually unknown films Tarantino uses in his films.
This movie was very predictable but fun to watch. The story was basic, and most of the characters were very 1 dimensional. With that being said, there are some very exciting moments. My favorite was when Jim pops out of the bed. Quite a thrilling moment.
I think the character of Jim was cool in the sense that we know NOTHING about him at all. It's almost like something that you hate to see in a character (having it be very undeveloped) actually works here, as we see a true "loner" or "drifter" that comes to town, does his job, and leaves. He has no reason to fight this fight, and does so just because it seems right to him.
Bersaglio mobile (1967)
Good to see Influence
I watched this film because I heard Leo's character in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood would be partially based off of Ty Hardin, and one of his film would resemble this one. Even though it is pretty cheesy and predictable, it's entertaining to watch. There are some fun shootouts, chases, and fights. The Albanian character was also pretty convincing and menacing. The on location scenes also add to the film. I definitely prefer other Sergio films to this, but it's still a good time, and it's interesting to see all the small films that Tarantino used to influence his works.
