Nope (2022)
Nope
Overrated, Peeles films are getting worse as we go along. Get out was superb, US was good for about 3/4s of it. Candy man was average and this for me is not good, he said he took his inspiration from King Kong and Jurassic park, saying how we as humans always want more and that leads to him showing 'too much' of the Spaceship monster thing on purpose to ultimately make it a worse experience. In my personal opinion it's way off the mark, he's trying to be too clever and it's not paid off. As a film I wasn't exactly bored it wasn't bad in that perspective, but it's just not to his usual standard. I've been waiting a long time for this and it's a disappointment.
A promising start that just got out of hand and not in a good way. Yes I understood the cross over references and hidden meanings to the side story (no spoilers so I won't go into detail)
I've given it the highest score I can bearing everything in mind, because as I said it was entertaining to a point. Not for me and Peele not at his best at all.
The Nan Movie (2022)
If I could give this any less I would
This film honestly caused me medical trauma, the sheer pain I had to go through to make it through this film was second to none.
If you think about how much you love your pet dog and then all of a sudden it got brutally murdered by a vicious psychopath (the psychopath being this film), then you'd be somewhere in the region of pain that I felt whilst watching.
