Arrow: Collision Course (2018)
Wow.
Ok. I might just be me. But I'm really fed up with this season.
It seems that we have returned to a kindergarten state of communication for this entire season.
Everybody says "Dinah, don't kill her" and she's saying stuff like "but I have to because something". Then when she has her Curtis tells her "Dinah, don't kill her" and she agrees. Also, Felicity gets shot by Wild Dog... and she doesn't bleed or get checked out. And there isn't a hole in her clothes, like there would be.
Sometimes I wonder why I see this show. Hopefully it gets (way) better.
Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2019)
10/10 for nostalgia and fun, 2/10 for following the comic book series
Okay. So I read the 5-issue comic books, and was genuinly excited for this crossover to come to life in animation. First, it looked promising when it followed the comic book, but then it went and made changes. Well OK I tought to myself - you don't have to be "100% true to the comics or it is not worth watching" like you have been, so change it up a bit.
I was actually genuinely surprised and entertained throughout the whole movie. The slapstick humor, the dialogues, the characters and the nostalgic memory came rushing in from right and left and I was in a constant mood of happiness.
I love this movie.
Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
Oh.
Oh dear.
This is an ending that seems... wrong. I'm missing things from it, and it isn't nowhere near the GoT I remember. It has a form of throwback/let's-get-this-over-with, and there has been some crucial mistakes, taken the 2+ years of filming it into consideration. I just want to forget this episode and the bad feeling it has left me. I still can't understand why they didn't make 10 episodes long. Sorry to say, but this season is just... oh wow, oh dear. Had hoped for more, since it's HBO and Game of Thrones we are talking about.
