Reviews
Culprits (2023)
Brilliant.
Thrilling, fun and clever.
Great use of story telling devices, like the reverse reveal of the heist and jumping back and forth between 'now' and 'then'.
Great score and soundtrack including some 90's classic bangers.
Really good cast and characters. Familiar, believable (esp the fake American accents from British cast) and gripping.
Visually very nice the way it jumps between typical everyday scenes and flashier affairs, all with great costumes, styling and colour palettes.
Brilliant and visceral action scenes and the little comedy moments are very well received as well.
All in all, great stuff from this director and team, as always.
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021)
Best res evil film to date
Ignore the haters, this film is Literally SOOO good.
The best one to date in the whole franchise. And there's been so many!
There's So many awesome Easter eggs in this. Nods to much of the first two games. Loads of fan service - awesomely nostalgic.
Absolutely brilliant casting and character choice that really helps make this very enjoyable.
The music is fantastic, too. Really looking forward to listening to the score again.
Beautiful cinematography, very game-like and true to the originals.
Yes, it has couple of little flaws, but what film doesn't?
I urge you to suggest a better canonical resident evil film than this!
The Figo Affair: The Transfer That Changed Football (2022)
Insightful
A truly great insight into the inner working of the tensions and corruption in the sport. Full of real archive footage and interviews with key figures.
Must see for any football fan / sports business manager.
Excellent score by Rival Consoles.
