Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
Could have been so much more... but ends up so weak tripping over itself.
Honestly this is probably the second worst Star Wars.
Ya, I am a die hard fan.. Episode 1 Phantom Menance and the Gungan mess takes the worst but the surprise for this movie failure is simply sloppy story.
You don't need to be a Star Wars fan to watch this movie, then realize the laziness of the writers and directors opened up so many unexplained can-of-worms and dead-end plot stories that only exist in this movie, yet serve no purpose. Where was the editor? Would you really have a story with 30% of the chapters being unrelated to the plot? Where is the depth of character development?
I liked many retro elements, guess that's why I still go.
The crazy part is the big plot twist does nothing to change Rey's character development nor gain new skills. Boooo
They could have linked Rey's past to the Mandalorian, baby yoda, anything of interest and instead it is just faces of nobodies with no new character growth or insight.
Prepare for multiple parts where it drags on so you almost are willing to reach for your phone, and they great jokes that lose all their humor cause they are glanced over.
Get rid of Abrams and hire someone to actually proof the movie and plot before going to theaters next time... glad I didn't wait hours in line for this one!
Stay Here (2018)
Great idea.. missing critical info
Great idea for a show.. I like how the host is explaining their inside thoughts and goals. We (the audience) must see the cost of the renovations.. at least as a final price if you don't wanna break it out. If this is about finance, then share the cost of the project. Lastly, suggesting someone put it on AirBnB for $250/night is great.. I want you to visit them back in 6 months and do a follow up, before the episode goes live. How did they do? Of course they could fail due to their lack of business skills but still, it is a real life result. Did they meet their goals of 16 nights a month?
