I am very good at predicting an ending to any film within 1/2 hour. The hooks just kept coming . Either my age has caught up w/me or this is truly hard to predict . I tried in Vain. This was a fun yet suspenseful , well shot, well acted and very well written.

The Behind the Scenes Is More Unbelievable than The the Film!
7 December 2019
I have always, since the age of 3, have been a Z movie horror fan. I was brought up in both the music and film industry. More detail, I won't get into. I discovered MST3K about 4 years ago and I've had the time of my life with it. It was watching MST3K that I first saw "The Creeping Terror"'

If you ever want a great laugh, to throw pillows at the TV, have a lot of fun pointing out ridiculous errors in a film, This Is For You!

The monster looks like a quilt and clearly has several people underneath that quilt trying to make it seem alive . Sometimes it looks like those people are not going in the same direction. It's mouth can look a bit obscene at certain (obscene only to those who have a dirty mind.) The addition of tubing and the 3 feet makes this the worst monster I've ever seen. The victims literally crawl into it and appear to be pulled in it by those under the monster. In one scene the monster, (again for those with a dirty minds) the monster is sexually aroused. The shaking of the monster is like so funny it's to die for.

Many years after this film was released, a few of the descriptions read the mister hypnotized it's victims by shaking causing them to crawl into the monster. However, this was never in the original premise and is hard to find in descriptions of this film. It's in black-and-white which is a blessing blessing.because this thing in color would make it worse. The acting is unbearable and 99% of the film is narrated. If this is your thing, you have to watch it! No matter how many times I've seen it, I find more errors and it always it cracks me up.

I've had a career with Sony Pics/Columbia Films for 20+ years and can smell something off with any film I see. This was one of them but in a big way. The lead actor just wasn't right and I don't mean for the part. There is something wrong with him as a person and the girl playing his wife looked As if she'd been made to look older than she was. I felt there was off in their interactions. I began what I thought was going to be a quick bit of research. However, this thing had more of a story behind the scenes than I ever imagined.

I found a documentary/docudrama that details the making of this incredibly bad movie for those who don't feel the need to research it. The title of the documentary/docudrama is THE CREEP BEHIND THE CAMERA. I found it on iTunes and it's pretty disturbing.

Yes, it discusses the monster, people in the film and also included everyone behind the camera. Many were still alive and gave interviews.Vic Savage aka A J Nelson is The Real CREEPY Terror ! The film documents a lot I found in my research regarding then behind the scenes in this Schlock.
