The Patient (2022)
It's like the movie Buried Alive
What a letdown, the end made everything a waste of time. Thank you for wasting my energy and killing my hopes. Please don't make any more of those movies.
Live is hurtful and negative enough, no need to kill dreams and hopes in a 10 episode show as well.
This show reminded me of the Ryan Raynolds movie buried alive, where we watched a man struggle for 1h straight just to see all hopes being in vein and him dying at the end.
I wished I could see the Sam killer suffer like Joffrey in GOT, that would have made a great ending.
Also the end scene with his son in therapy.. ugh
Now I need to watch something nice like the new show "Shrinking" to feel something good again.
For All Mankind (2019)
Damn! I did not expected it to be amazing!
It starts okey, a bit of an alternative universe likish but the show develops more and more into its own reality. Yyou start enjoying it for what it is, the characters and scenarios. Some episodes were incredibly thrilling, kept you glued to the screen and some episodes have been let's say more for the character development.
The premises of what mankind could have reached with more energetic force if Russians would have been the first on the moon what would the nations do to overcompensate it is interesting to follow.
A lot! Happens in each episode, more than some shows have in a season. The time jumps were great to keep the movement of the story but not too fast so you had no feeling of missing on some developments in details.
I must say it's one of the best and overlooked shows out there and definitely need more fame!
The Flight Attendant (2020)
8 Stars for Season1 and 5 for Season2
I loooved the first season, so sexy and thrilling, the characters have been interesting and fun, the situations have been unique and cool.
And season 2 was meh. The discussions of the 5 personalities I had to fast forward, the plots of her friends have been blunt. And her whole messiness just started to be very irritating 2 episodes in.
Also, honestly no plot twists, super obvious who was framing her from the get go.
House of Gucci (2021)
What a lost potential
I could not believe that was a real story, just wow. A movie based made based on that story and those characters could have been amazing!
Could have been...
but I saw this movie. I saw better Netflix low budget productions having more intriguing scenes. I don't think this movie was bad, it would be a 7 but my expectations were high for Ridley and for the already interesting real story behind it.
What I liked: the vibe of the 80s-90s and the Fashion scenes. What I did not like: the time jumps and no character development rather character changed suddenly and my brain working with backstories to make up for the changes.
The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
It was perfect as THE TRILOGY.
I was and am the biggest fan of the Matrix Trilogy.
The first one changed everything for me, how I see movies and what I expect from amazing movies. It was such an inspiration.
I had so many ideas of the Matrix World and Zion. Also loved The Animatrix and all the explanations it offered.
Then I watched Resurrection.
It was like someone took the thing I loved and killed it slowly and painful.
I was so incredibly sad after watching it.
I wished this movie was never made, the Trilogy was perfect as it was.
The Bubble (2022)
Nightmare of a movie
Watching The Bubble made me feel as depressed and miserable as the characters shooting that Cliff Beasts movie.
It started not even bad, had some funny scenes and seeing all the great actors was nice. But that movie was at leat one hour too long.
The Wheel of Time (2021)
Zzzzzzsssshhhh
Snooze fest at its finest.
The boring dialogues are not even the worse, those weak magical powers are, I just really dislike the effects and the CGI is not at its best.
So basically boring story combined with mediocre action scenes.
After We Collided (2020)
Bad acting and an awful plot line
I don't remember the first film to be as bad, maybe it was however this one was awful. I mean I watched worse movies that's why I am giving it a very generous 5 but that acting was horrible.
The characters had no development and at the same time managed to be completely out of character in some scenes, as if the actors had to improvise on the spot.
Cooking with Paris (2021)
Funny and real, ignore the haters!
A mix of the Paris we used to know mixed with the new real Paris not taking herself seriously. Also she cooks with amazing fun artists. I was very surprised how funny it was and I could not switch it off. I never ever watch cooking shows but this show was super enjoyable and I actually cooked same day haha.
Soulmates (2020)
Black Mirror for Romance
Each episode has own story, one episode is better than the other. The overall concept is interesting.
I cannot shake the feeling if this would have been an English production it would have been so much better.
It's like the "soul" is missing in the production. Which is an irony, really.
WandaVision (2021)
You cannot stop watching and leave bad reviews
This is a series which develops, it means you have to watch at least 4 episodes to understand why it starts like a 50s sitcom in b&w.
So everyone who ended watching it give it another go!
The Titan (2018)
So bad, I hate my eyes and ears
If you want to watch that movie just watch the trailer, if you want to get angry of time wasted, go ahead and watch full movie.
The idea and concept was interacting to me, I was excited to see how it would develop. What disappointed me the most have been how the test and experiment as a whole has been handled.
Wynonna Earp (2016)
Ignore the bad CGI in the pilot and watch at least 3 ep
You have to watch 2-3 episodes to get into it, the pilot was horribly made but I was desparate (watched everything in the lockdown), however the longer I watched the better it got.
Give this show a fair chance ;)
Servant (2019)
You would love it if you are prepared for an M Night Shyow
Now for everyone who watched season one and did not understand what and why here are my spoilers:
.
.
.
A girl named Leanne grows up in a cult.
One day her cult family are stopped by the police which is filmed by a TV-News crew.
The interviewer of that tv story is made by Dorothy who leaves a great Impression on Leanne.
From that day Leanne admires her.
One day Dorothy and her husband get a baby that dies and is replaced by a doll as part of therapy for Dorothy.
Long story short, Dorothy forgets her baby died and thinks that doll is alive so she searches for a babysitter. Leanne applies and gets the job.
Leanne, a sensitive and empathetic girl as she is treats this doll as if it was a real baby. Leanne also has a special gift, she can give someone what he desires the most and basically making wishes come true. She can also make someone suffer but that's another story.
Dorothy finally gets what she wants the most, her baby back to life. So one day Leanne makes that doll a real baby.
As Leanne was a great part of her cult community her family comes after her and wants to bring her back. The problem is, when she is not around the baby it turns back into the doll.
That was S1&S2.
365 dni (2020)
Sexier than 50 shades of grey
The plot is ok and the dialogues are really bad but the movie captures what was missed in the 50 shades movie, the sexual energy and sexual attraction between main characters.
Also the sex scenes are very very sexy, much sexier than in 50 shades or Sex/Life series
Yes again dialogues are very cringy and the English is bad but tbh I was ok with that.
Ray Donovan (2013)
First seasons have been awesome, last ones not so much
Did not watched last season after seeing how the first two episodes have been handled. Everything I loved about this show has been killed slowly with every season more and more, characters and Ray's awesomeness. Truly sad.
Sweet Magnolias (2020)
Dana Sue gotta go...
I am at episode 4 now and I am so over Dana Sue (btw who in real world would call someone by double name all the time) complaining and lashing out at everyone. Other than that it's an ok show, nothings really happens, bla bla suborbs problems...
Snowpiercer (2020)
Give me back that hour
So boring, only watched first episode and the story was boring, the acting was unimpressive, no suspense no reason to keep going.
Devils (2020)
Meehh
Problem not 1 slowmo scenes every two minutes even if nothings happens, problem no 2 suspense music for no reason, problem no 3 voice overlay of bs life lessons. One episode in and already out.
Dark (2017)
I am at episode 3 and bored...
Season 1 episode 3 is all I could bare, sorry but it's very slow paced and pretty boring, the suspense musik leads to nothing. Nothing shocking happens, nothings which have not yet been made better in other shows.
The Mandalorian (2019)
Best of all Star Wars
Whatever movie or series I watched so far most of them have been missing something, were quite unrealistic or totally unreliable, especially when it came to the Star Wars saga (not speaking of IV, V, VI obviously). But Mandalorian was just perfect in each way, weather you are a fan of Star Wars or just want to be amazed by a show. Each episode was full of thrill, interesting story and cuteness (yes, I am talking about "the baby"). Each scene was thought through, each character made sense and wasnt blunt. And you could follow the story even if you knew nothing about star wars.
And also, all I was thinking while watching, in each of the 35 minutes episodes was happening more then in some shows or movies for hours or seasons (yes, you know what I wanna say, freaking Picard, waste of my time, or The Outsider, big disappointment after 2nd episode).
I miss watching Mando and the Baby every evening, cannot wait for the second season.
9-1-1 (2018)
1st season 8/10 afterwards 6/10
Started strong and interesting, female lead was fantastic. Then she left, JLoveH came on and her acting is copy paste of any of her shows. Long story short magic was lost and it became yet another "cop show".
Midsommar (2019)
Could have been better if time would not have been waisted
If you have not watchen the Hannibal series and The Devils Rejects movie you would love Midsommar. Otherwise this movie shows bits and bats of already seen events, nothing original to find here. On the other hand you have great cast, dialogues make senses, sceneries are beautiful and the atmosphere is catched nicely with right music.
Amazing Stories: The Cellar (2020)
Waisted potential
Great cast, nice story but not really original. I have seen many different interpretations of the same boy-meets-girl-time-travel story but much better executed as this one. I am very disappointed since Apple made so much notice around Steven Spielberg being the producer etc.
Star Trek: Picard (2020)
Bbbbbbooring, I would rather be puzzleling
Plot stretched, scenes play on cheap stages, characters are flat and dialogues do not really give me anything.
Go watch Orville! That one is amazing if you want some in space funtimes.
