Ambulance (2022)

Sloppy , way too long

The plot could have been made simple but instead they made it sloppy and complicated, it was also way too long! Shave 45 mins off this train wreck and it might be manageable to watch, just maybe . No character in this movie had depth , none . You could have cared less about anyone, also they had way too many characters to begin with . They tried to make a Michael Bay action film for 2022 but I've seen better movies go straight to demand. Don't waste your time on this or you will need an ambulance for yourself .

Candyman (2021)

Woke Garbage missed opportunity

Unfortunately this movie had potential to be awesome but missed every opportunity with political garbage , stick to the horror theme and let us escape in the movie experience, the style was well done but underlying tones just ruined it. We don't want to watch the news hidden in a horror movie . The opening scene was truly headed in the right place and gave me chills but fell flat after that.

Nice Tony Todd Cameo at the end .

Blithe Spirit (2020)

Had Potential but dove into a dumpster fire

The Set design, clothing, and time period pieces are the best thing about this movie, Halfway through the picture it totally changes its tone and Loses the audience, you could care less about any of these characters, I would not waste your time with this picture , They ruined a film that could have been quite entertaining but instead chose to go another route and drive it straight into the ground. Dan Evens was good but getslost in this mess of a film . Someone should take the concept of this film and do it correctly.

The Fly (1986)

Very very creepy, makes your skin crawl. And that's a good thing

This film starts off pretty normal, Guy meets girl, guy wants to impress girl, guy guy goes too far and accidentally turn himself into a fly. The film's tone It's very eerie , I would not add this to any of my favorites lists but it's well done and definitely sticks with you, worth a watch just to say you saw it and can respect it.

Framing John DeLorean (2019)

Excellent Hollywood feel documentary

I loved the back and forth between behind the scenes, an actual movie , and a documentary. Very informative and shed a lot of light on the man behind the car.

This movie is well acted, well orchestrated but man it was a huge let down . You invested a lot into these characters for it to fall so flat. I was picturing a film like Seven but this is not even close . What a shame .

Ed Harris shines

Very simple tasteful road trip story , the acting was good especially Ed Harris. He delivered on all levels . Unfortunately Elizabeth Olson's character had zero range , she had the same 5 lines of being a delagator between Ed and Jason's characters. It got very annoying.

Love and Monsters (2020)

This movie slipped under my radar but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The CGI is great, and the overall story is just exciting . If you love Zombieland, then you'll love this.

Night of the Running Man (1995)

This was an amazon prime find , it's nothing special but kept my attention. McCarthy does a decent job but the plot is a little dull at times . Worth a watch if you like a cat and mouse thriller . Sex and violence are pretty good too in the film. Scott Glenn is enjoyable as the hitman.

This movie was a feel good great time . The plot is pretty simple but overall I very much enjoyed it. Andy gives a great performance , nothing over the top , just right . Worth a watch!

Kevin James as a bad guy

Kevin James as a bad guy was the most appealing thing about this movie , I had excitment for this film but ultimately it's just plan bad , Kevin was the only intriguing casting , LuLu wilson Is pretty horrible in this film , her wide eyes the whole film was he fail safe to seem like she had a grasp on her character. Also there is a major Plot Point NEVER discussed , why was the key in their lake house in the first place !?!?!?! And what exactly was it for ???? It's never explained . Also people who see loved ones die or get tortured usually show some major emotion.... these character get over it in seconds .... major let down of a film .

Some steller actors in this film and while they're somewhat on point the direction they were given or lack there of for that matter is just awful, The director needs to take some time off and direct something original that he created , no more films thrown his way... maybe fund it himself . This was very poorly put together, a lot of inconsistencies. I miss Aaron making studio films .
