Eternal (2004)
hardcore for virgin teenagers
I've read some previous posts where people are speaking about "sensuality", "sexiness"... come on peeps! If you want lesbian sensuality - watch some of Andrew Blake films! You'll get an hour-and-a-half non-stop lesbian sexuality action without some pseudo-vampiric stuff! The movie is booooooring! I've stopped the playback on 40th minute and I am not sure if I want to continue watching it. It seems like the producers and directors were not sure what they wanted to film - a horror, a vampiric movie, a BSDM or lesbian hardcore. Therefore they've decided to take a little piece of each and mix them altogether. It's like mixing eggs, bacon, strawberry jam, mustard and chocolate sauce. I like only two things about this movie - camera work and the house where the policeman lives :) By the way - what's this "inspired by true events" thing?
Godsend (2004)
Scary & atmospheric.
I'll write just few words - I did like the movie and I've voted 8/10 basing on the following criteria: - It is a thriller, and it does its job really good. It thrills, and sometimes scares really hard. The atmosphere of the movie is great too - winter season, leafless trees, dull colors, howling wind - keeps you focused that something nasty would happen right away. The ambient sound is great too. - Acting. The kid looks really demonic from time to time. He plays very well and he shows the difference between Adam & Zachary perfectly. Greg's acting is also nice, he really looks like worried and scared but loving father. Rebecca - she's a beautiful woman, but a decent actress, IMHO. I was 4 movies where she starred - she's different only in X-Men because of the makeup, in Punisher and Godsend she looks and plays very similar. Robert... he plays well almost everywhere, although nothing really great. - The plot. The movie just confirms my POV - Man, stop paying God. If you play than you face the consequences. That's it. I don't want to know if such things as shown in the movie are possible. If I want some popular science information I'd watch Discovery channel, but I've bought the DVD because I like thrillers and I think the movie does its job very well. As a bonus there are several alternative endings on DVD, which is a nice addition.
Overall - it is a good thriller, with good thrilling atmosphere, nice camera work and one demonic kid :)
Braveheart (1995)

I don't think it is a good idea to compare "Braveheart" with "Return of the king". These movies are way too different. If we speak about the battle scenes in "BH" the battle scenes were filmed with actual actors, while in "LOTR ROTK" they were extremely well modelled. And for me it is a huge difference. The same thing is with recent "Troy" movie - yes, the battle scenes look good, but you cannot feel them. When you watch "LOTR" or "Troy" you are more likely to say "Wow!" than "Oh my God!". And I think there is nothing fascinating about the battle scenes. People die there. In BH you have a very strong feeling of being in the middle of the real battle and not inside of the PC game.
