Bizaardvark (2016)
Stop Comparing It
Half of the bad reviews are comparing it to Icarly. That was a different time, several ago. This show is meant for younger viewers, alot of them didn't even watch Icarly.
The kids I babysit loved this show, and they never even heard of Icarly. They were too young when it was around. Shows repeat themselves over time, that's how television works. Plus, just because they make internet videos, doesn't automatically make it Icarly.
I think the acting in this show is pretty decent. At least the original 4. The new kids aren't that great. Bernie is hysterical.
The first two seasons were so much better then the final season in the Vuugal house (this new kids aren't good actors). The finale was incredibly weak too, they did a poor job with it. Also, it was super odd how they had Bernie lusting after Amelia the whole series, until all of a sudden they became step-siblings. That was super awkward.
Overall, I think this show was pretty funny (at least the first two seasons) and doesn't deserve all the hate it gets on here, just because is has a few similarities to an older show.
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019)
Not What I Was Expecting
The only reason I'm giving this four stars is because the actors did an exceptional job portraying their characters.
Other than that, this was incredibly boring. It was more of a love story between Ted and Liz. I was hoping to see him more with his victims, as it would have made it more chilling. I didn't feel anger towards him or anything. I almost felt bad for the character honestly. They didn't paint him as enough of a villian if you ask me.
Andi Mack (2017)
I don't get it
I honestly dont get the appeal for this show. I feel like it gets such high ratings and so much praise because there is a character who is gay, which is "progressive" for Disney channel.
Every episode seems to focus on Andi and Jonah, and will they won't they type deal. I honestly can't get past the acting though, it's just awful. It feels so awkward and forced.
