They are blind, and apparently they don't eat. They're always off on missions with no supplies and, no disrespect intended, but how the hell can visionally impaired folks hunt 'efficiently' enough to do it whilst on a by foot wilderness navigating mission? Now, if I can forget that for a while it's fabulous. The incongruence of practicalities is annoying, but put that aside, there's good things going on. I definitely enjoy the cinematography, the acting is mostly good. The queen is clearly insane so that works for me, though I see she bothers many folks. Honestly it's a bit meh if you contemplate it, but weirdly compelling for its artiness in the moment. Enjoyable as long as you go with it. In other words: Escape into it and don't think too hard, then it works beautifully.

Just not that into it
17 September 2021
"Are you there God? It's me Margaret's son." Loved that reference. Other than that, felt incongruous. I get it was apparently wonderful unto itself, homage to this and that... but I'm watching a series, one that up till now has given me what I was anticipating. I thought I enjoyed spontaneity, but apparently not. I want my 'yay' fix damn you!!
Gemini Man
(2019)
Easy and enjoyable

Just had to write a brief note to counter the multitude of bad reviews. It's a perfectly entertaining film. Not rocket science, but easy to watch and enjoyable. Sure the script's isn't mind blowingly good. It's not that kind of film. So you just want to be entertained without having your kilt blown up give it a try.
Deadwater Fell

Worth watching ... gripping
19 April 2020
I read a couple of reviews on here after the first show, as I was telling a friend to try it, and wanted a bit more info (as they always ask). So it was disappointing to read the low reviewer comments, and see their upset about the ending. I still watched it. I still enjoyed it. Found it compelling and intense. And have no issue at all with the way the story unfolded. The acting and characters were good, and the story held me. It kept me all the way to the end. Worth watching!
The Legend of Cocaine Island
(2018)
True or not it's nicely put together

I assumed it was true, now I'm confused. But whatever the case, I really enjoyed it. I thought the director was clever in the way they filmed it, nicely edited and great music. It seemed high budget for a documentary. I did wonder about that whilst watching 'creative filler scenes), I thought, well done Director to make the project happen. Now, as I say, I'm a bit confused. But hey! That's entertainment!
