Ip Man: The Awakening (2021)

No idea why people disliked this film

It's a sweet, small film about hong kong and china.. it's not brilliant, it's not boring and it lacks a really good plot. Still the fights are wing chun and the acting is not bad. If you like the genre you will probably have fun.. no idea why people wrote the other reviews.. i enjoyed it.

But all i could think was: Lord of the rings : the Ali Express edition 😂 You can have a go, if you don't have much to do when it rains outside.

Shallow at most times But entertaining.

I am not biased or connected by any to the creators :) I enjoyed every episode. It's dark. It makes you think of our reality nowadays.. The cast are doing a really good job on set.

Basically it's 1 of the best shows I binged lately.

I can understand the somehow low rating by younger people - it shoots arrows in some tough places for them to deal with heads on - thats why its so good.
