Eragon (2006)
Overall, worth watching again, if you're not a stickler for perfection
For the loyal fan of the book series, this movie is lacking in detail, depth, and character development. Some characters from the book aren't even in the movie, and specific details on landscape, character detail, and the like, are a bit off from the book as well.
However, in overlooking some of those flaws, one has to really look at the movie as just that; a movie for entertainment. It moved a little fast (thus the lacking in the development part), but still covered enough to keep you going with the story and enjoying the action scenes (what little there was of them). Rather than seeming like a movie that told the entire story in one go, it seems as though it was an opening for more to come.
Ed Speelers, for his first major role, I think did excellent in his role, bringing out the strong-willed but at most times foolish Eragon, but, again, that's the most we get out of the character.
Bypass the lack of detail, somewhat quick movement of storyline, and relatively short action scenes, I think it makes out for a very awesome movie that even with these issues, it's worth another watch... or two... or three...
Red vs. Blue (2003)
Sarge: "Hey Grif, Chupathingy... how about that?..."
One of the few shows I've seen made online that actually had me laughing so hard it hurt. The lines that the characters have are ones that will be remembered. (Sarge: "Hey Grif, Chupathingy... how about that? I like it... got a ring to it" (Sarge discussing the name of the vehicle of the game Halo, the Warthog)).
Nothing better than to sit back and watch the antics of several soldiers of Halo arguing and trying to kill each other over... nothing... basically...
I'd have to say that not much can make me laugh as much or more than this show.
Eiga Inuyasha Toki o Koeru Omoi (2001)
Extremely great
I recommend this movie to people who have met two prequisits: Those who like anime, and for those who like Anime to watch at least the first 20 or so episodes of Inuyasha. If you've watched that many or have a good understanding of the Inuyasha storyline and characters, then watch the movie too. I felt that this movie was BETTER than the series itself and was not just like a long episode. Rather, it was more of an in-depth description of the characters.
If I had to give a score, up to 100, 1 being a being a home video with the cover still on and a broken microphone, 100 being something that you will watch over and over again for eternity, I'd give it:
89/100
I give it less than 90 because the 2nd movie was better than this one.
