The Batman (2022)
el rata alada...
Not sure if this was supposed to be a super complex riddle with the rat's gender. But it sounds so dumb trying to sound smart. Basically, like the rest of the movie.
The Expanse: Babylon's Ashes (2022)
Everyone believing there arcs that are not closed
Yes, there's a bunch of arcs that are not closed, not even half assed, like the two kids plot that is just left without any explanation there, even on the LAST EPISODE.
There's a reason for this: In my understanding, there's THREE more additional books. The story continues. Now these haven't been signed off to film by Amazon, the agreed ending was here. But the book plot continues, and if they want to change their minds about continuing the series, they definitely can. Hence, the closure for some of the main plots, but also why so many others are left open.
The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
I could have saved by money by watching the original again
This movie references itself so much by literally playing back scenes from the old movies, you could just save your money by just watching the original ones again. The plot is abysmal, at some point they have the self-reflection to break the 4th wall to address this is a money grab from WB. It's just this bad. And several key actors like Lawrence Fishburne and Hugo Weaving seemed to have better things to do, so they have been recasted by some random decent actors...but in no way washes the bad taste of knowing what the real face should look like. A lot of tippy-talk to justify the changes as tricks of the matrix etc, but at the end of the day, those actors are missed.
Terrible.
Oh I wonder if they played Hans Zimmer copyright for blatantly copying The Mind Heist track onto the whole heist/rescue scene?

Chaappa Kurish (2011)
Effort? What effort do you see in plagiarism?
This movie is a rip-off from Korean film Handphone (2009). Unlicensed copy. No rights from the original obtained before ripping off the plot directly. So...what effort?
