Billions (2016)
Don't give up
For all the ney sayers out there, watch the newest season till the end. If you quit because you think this show became too liberal or woke, wake the f up and watch it till the end. Chuck Rhodes goes after all. The difference between this evil and axe's evil is that Prince knows how to cover it up with the guile. The demure of liberal good. So do not give up. Yes the show is gone under some massive renovations and I'm not sure who is left who still fits. This includes Wendy Rhodes I'm not sure where she fits in this new paradigm but I do believe in the new message that evil arrives in all packages.
The Man Who Fell to Earth: As the World Falls Down (2022)
Russian Roulette
Good God I felt every second while he questioned him with Russian Roulette. The talent between these two actors were already phenomenal. Watching them play this out was like a master class of dedication.
1883: Behind Us, a Cliff (2021)
Unspoken
Tom Hanks is such a powerful presence as General Meade. He didn't have anything in those opening moments. The pain and yet understanding between two bitter rivals is incalculable and yet those words still do not bring reason to what it feels like to be an American. It is a form of destructive chivalry. An impossible place to be but yet here they are and here we still are...
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: The Gang Carries a Corpse Up a Mountain (2021)
Incredible
I laughed and I cried. It's all I could ever ask for. I don't know how they keep doing it every year but they managed to keep things fresh and heartfelt in the weirdest moments.
Loudermilk: Hit Me Baby One More Time (2020)
Ignore the haters
All of the bad reviews here are too blinded by politics to realize that the emphasis of the episode was the salvation of Mugsy. He went back to his family and if a man going back to his family and owning up to his mistakes is too progressive, then don't watch. But enjoy living alone the rest of your life.
Doctor Foster (2015)
Season 1 Wonderful. Season 2 hard to watch.
Season one is exciting with a finale that is worth the wait in fireworks. Season 2 we find Simon just as despicable as before and more so. What I found surprising was how disturbed by Gemma I had become with the new season. In season one she rode the line between insanity and exciting. In season 2, in my opinion, she has shattered all personal boundaries. I suspect she shall get even by the end of season 2 but when she came over to a teenage friend of her son's to ply him for information while drunk, she creepily stared at him through his back yard. This was too much for me.
