The Chilling (1989)

Great example of summer movie...

So, it was corny... extremely corny. I loved this movie, though. It has been given horrible reviews by pretty much everyone who has seen it. This, however, has been one of my favorite corny horror movies for many years. It is worth many laughs.

The zombies in it are the most creative I have seen in any horror movie, and I have seen a lot of them. The whole idea and plot are trite, but I think that it embodies the B movie... right down to Linda Blair playing a main character.

In short, and I know this was already short... watch this movie or I'll make you watch it.

SubUrbia (1996)

Great film...
22 February 2005
I consider this one of Giovanni Ribisi's greatest acting roles... because it is so real. The entire cast portrays this in the way that I think many 20-something-year-olds can relate. I know that when I had all of my friends watch it, they could see themselves in many of the characters. It showed us that we are not the only young adults, living in suburbia and our mother's houses... thinking about the things that we'll never do with our lives. Steve Zahn gave his usual comedic act, without taking away from the seriousness of the film. I believe that this is much easier to relate to than the earlier Dazed and Confused, because it shows the American Dream in action... that series of hopes that are easier said than done. What is wrong with us?

On the Line (2001)
Funny Stuff

So, this movie was a romantic comedy. Personally, I found the comedy extremely entertaining. The fake farts, Dave Foley, the little bit during the credits, people getting hit... The romance, not so much. The acting, not so much. The script, not so much. Still, I will always love the comedy in it all.

FUNNY

One of my favorite films, everyone should watch this. It's not like South Park... for those fans. It's more like Monty Python than anything. This is just one of those movies you can watch over and over and over again, and I would know... I have watched 52 times in a row before.

Hard to find, but worth it.

This movie may be hard to find, but go out and look. It just plain has that good feel to it. It's original. It is worth seeing. The special effects are perfect for any of those 70s freaks, like me. Not to mention the fact that it will remind you have doing that awesome project with your friends.

Freaks (1932)
One of the best...

Yes, I believe this is one of the best films of all time... and it's all because it can't be done anymore. Hell, even parts of it were taken out and can not be found today. By the middle of this film, my mother mentioned she forgot Frida was a drawf. It just brings us all to think. I suggest that everyone watch this movie once.
