Hustlers (2019)
Feminist religion!
I wonder what the movie would have looked like, or how the characters would have been depicted if a bunch of men go to a bar, drink and sneak drugs in to a woman's drink, steal her money and do some touching in the process once she is all out? This is the dogma of feminism creating a double standard in stretching morals one way! Not happy with the overly- sanctified wrong values!
Ghahreman (2021)
Another masterpiece
I am born and raised in Shiraz, the city that the story takes place. It's a bitter depiction of social economic pain that involves many people Like Rahim. The story line is artistic and the camera dynamics are simply noble!.
Mr. Nobody (2009)
Philosophy art
This movie is a masterpiece in terms of depicting a bare/ unfiltered philosophical view about life and existance!
Observance of "butterfly effect" will create an extra layer fearsome emptiness to the illusional theory behind our existence!
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Imposter (2016)
Embarassing premise!
Wow so moms can't sleep around in the hope of getting their kids (unfairly) in colleges now?!! Wow!
"Stubborn feministic effort in the expense of anti-men agenda."
Such a weak episode. Poor married mom sleeps around to get her kid to where she want in an unethical unfair manner (by almost any culture) and she cries "rape" because she found she cheated with a wrong guy?!
It's like Saying: "oh I thought I am BRIBING the right authority to confound the result of an important exam,, but now I am gonna cry and ask the judicial system to punish the Imposter?!"
This episode showed that the authors of SVU are insisting on feminine values to the point of unrooting the (very) basics of ethics. Will stop watching at this point! #LawAndOrserBiased!
Black Mirror (2011)
A true scare!
Despite the interesting nature of this unique series, I cannot deny the despair disappointment and fear that I feel after watching each episode. For this reason I will characterize it by the word "impressive".
This show depicts a bitter, dark and scary picture of near future or even the present time.
It shows the dark and cruel aspect of over growing technology, media and globalizing social (virtual)media as it expands its shadow and run it's roots under the skin of our souls.
Aside from the strong acting, what adds to the brilliance of the stories, is keeping the audience excited and enthusiastic up to the very last few minutes of the each episode, before the real story unravels.
Eagle Eye (2008)
Oh My God!! Either make it comedy or some moderation in your exaggeration!
I mean dude, like common, there should be some moderation in exaggerating your plot, if you are not intending to make a comedy movie.
I mean listening to a digital (recorded) voice that knows answer to all Your questions and have the answers and protocol of all odds, is that aliens we are dealing with? I mean oh my goodness! The leading roles transformation was not any less exaggerated! From a student to a top notch professional who had extreme experience in handling the guns and... eyes rolling up!
I Didn't even got a chance to pay attention to acting and performances!
I guess the performance were not as bad as the story line. Also I give some credits to the camera as it created a semi- exciting movie.
Zootopia (2016)
A masterpiece just to slap nationalist vote seeker in the face
This animation has a clear and strong message that does not only establishes uniting spirit between different religions and ethnicities in youngsters, but also highlights the jingoism and xenophobia that fires up by the exact same politicians who fires it up in first place, in order to use it as a vote collecting strategy.
Special thanks to the authors. I thing that this animation should have been considered for Nobel peace prize.
Last but not least the characters are super fun with extremely cheering voices.
Highly recommend it for all age groups.
The Good Lie (2014)
A movie to remember!!!
A movie to remember. This movie is a unique movie in terms of depicting:
1. Death is not just a concept! 2. How children in Africa are feeling it early on. 3. Makes good contrast with western world 4. Reminder that America and most American people are a sympathetic and awesome nation.
It has probably not received the attention it deserves, because of budget restriction, and the lack of population's attention catcher!! but still a great movie.
Nicely and realistically played by actors and actress, with smart dialogues, contrasting western world and third world. Highly recommended.
The Invitation (2015)
Boaring cliché
This movie is consisted of a bunch of actors and a director who wants to squeeze an artistic type of movie from an old and boring cliché. Not recommended!
My might may be biased given the fact that I am not a fan of thrillers, but still I think that's not worth it.
The actors and actresses maintain sort of expected characters and the needless to say the movie keeps you in a vague limbo to the end.
Depicting a bunch of weirdo different types of miseries in a shady house come on Hitchcock has already nailed them all.
Beside adding a sexual romantic overs puzzle that's too it's stereotyped nature.
Syngué sabour, pierre de patience (2012)
those who fight do so because they don't know how
For people form middle east it would be good to know that women are as human as men. For the rest of the world its good to know that human feeling exist the same way even under hijab! The most impressive line is "those who don't know to make love, make war". Golshifteh is a pioneer in breaking the control freak nature of middle eastern culture which I believe is the main factor that underlies sexual complexes and subsequent dysfunction in the layers of society. She, aware or not, is the first person who is putting an end to this. The picture and landscaping is realistic and the motion of the lens is so touchable in alternative induction of life threatening vigilance and peaceful love making moments. Filmography explains the culture for non-afghan viewers pretty digestible.
