Extraterrestrial (2014)
I have defecated what looked more alien to me than this movie.
It begins like any B movie would classical teen horror meets old dude, then after the crazy old dude, and the beginning of the alien assault it was scary and sad so not bad well only one third was good, the third in the middle, yet after that it looked like it copied parts of the matrix and so degraded it self, where at the end it looks like some wrote what the actors would do written it by an extremely paranoid person who must have written while choking a chicken as plainly it have no redeeming value, it is almost as if someone who toke a good B movie and wanted to make sure that last one thirds one would be annoyed by the level of copy cat, and then buggered off for insulting hatred to the government, only freedom of press could protect its sorry work for existing as I want my time back for watching it, as a refund is not required but my time is worth something to me, and its the first movie I have watched in months that makes me write the two thumbs down, which means I have defecated things more appealing to me. So the writer and director can eat those as greater material than what they produced worth a consumers time.
The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete (2013)
Children survived without parents that loved them.
Children survived without parents that loved them. The tragic ending was the capture of the children to which the state held them captive. The point of view of children is far more realistic than adults.
Children understand the difference from being cared for because they are loved, and being cared for because the state gets paid to do so. Plainly children perceive abuse when the state cares for them for money. Why adults do not perceive this fact is beyond me.
When a state gets paid to take care of children its child abuse. How the state justifies child abuse is beyond me. I question the benefit of taking a child from abusive parents just to replace the abuse parents with another another abusive system.
Children understand the difference from someone doing their job responsibility and someone who cares for them merely that they love them.
So the movie was realistic, it is a ten star movie, I claim to only be a eight star movie, merely that it conveys the benefit of the state, when in most cases the state does more harm than good.
Money for Nothing: Inside the Federal Reserve (2013)
Impartial and honest perception of our economic system
A gem in the movie industry, conveying the federal reserve as pacifist who hates the idea of forcing people to come to grips with reality. Conveying the federal reserve as having foresight all the time, even though there is some denial of this near the end.
The very pacifist mentality was the ideal of the federal reserve to act as a cushion to protect the delusions of the public rather than act as moralist dictator. So the federal reserve allowed investment out self interest that had no direct long term benefit to society this was more acceptable than forcing a moralist view on the economy.
One of the prime reasons the fed always acted as a cushion rather than a moralist was the monetary gain, which were only asset inflation and this was the delusion of the people. Against there better judgement they obeyed the people's will in general.
The asset inflation is inflation mistaken as monetary gain, however when ever individuals profit by inflation inequity rules as they got the money for free or nearly free. For the investors get rich, those who own stock and houses and so on, and everyone else suffers poverty.
No one wishes to change this as that would create the appearance of monetary redistribution. Worse yet because the market gains where an illusion, there are no new jobs for the youth as there shall always be to many people and not enough jobs, as industry is very efficient in the new computer robotic global economy.
Hence everyone must work less hours so everyone can work otherwise pay for a welfare state which has negative effects in itself, for if neither of these are done The People shall and will starve to death as there is lots of food and shelter, but no self dependence everyone is dependent upon jobs to get those things, as in past the majority had their own land to farm upon and now they do not.
To any length the problem can never be solved by the monetary federal reserve. It was never their fault in the first place. Blaming a bunch of pacifist who would do anything to ensure the economy kept going given the conditions of a computer robotic global economy is a sad lie.
These federal reserve people call it the free market but what they are meaning is forcefulness is rape, they simply hate pushing their morals upon a people who do not want them, people wanted free money and so they got what they desired.
The sacrifices we must make to remain a compassionate society is something that is going to be token by force. Plainly none of us are honest enough to admit we have stolen from ourselves a fair and equitable society.
Where money is earned by giving to society a long lasting benefit in service, rather than just profiting our selves, I can say being a pacifist myself, I have lost everything by a forceful economy that was self serving and now I have profited being self serving. If someone takes by force what I have token without any benefit to society, at least I can say its fair enough to me.
Inside Job (2010)
the whining public outcry mixed with interesting facts.
This by far is one of the best documentary about the general housing crisis, however it is like all the other documentaries.
It is not a crime to profit at the expense of society, matter fact most of society thinks that is ideal. People got loans off houses they could never afford to repay to get money. Bank CEOs were paid huge amounts of money for giving them money in exchange for promises to repay that money plus interest which they knew they could never repay. Talk about a win win. Everyone gets money.
The only reason people whine about it now is that they spent the money, and think it so unfair rich people did not spend it. Beyond that people desire riches just like them and are simply envious that a bunch of people made really simple choices to profit at the expense of everyone else.
I am so sorry I thought that was capitalism, perhaps I am mistaken, but really the banks are but a manifestation of the nature of its people. The people do not care if they actual benefit society, as long as they obtain more than everyone else they are happy. the CEO's in banks have the same philosophy as you do, so stop whining about it, and realize you deserved to be screwed by them as you would do the same thing if you were in their shoes.
The economic crisis is a failure of everyone, not just some escape goats. The CEO's ethical standards are about the same as the average individual, if it were not the case, then so would the CEO's ethical standards be higher, ethics is a collective cultural nature. Its going to be the same as high or low as you go. I call it justice.
Hamilton: I nationens intresse (2012)
In the nation's best interest
In the nation's best interest is tragic, and entertaining. manslaughter is not the same thing as first degree murder, accidents happen and beautiful woman die, which makes this movie horrible. Other than that it is rather entertaining, it is funny to see justice, the guy kills people in self defense all day long, yet it have nothing to do with justice, the guy kills someone accidentally and it have nothing to do with justice.
Justice is what you make it, I think the movie shows the superficial nature of the action hero, showing nothing he does as truly meriting existence, but the fact that people allow themselves to be a part of the superficial existence where violence is required both the hero and the bad guys allow themselves to be a part of it.
This action movie seems to show this intentional as some moral or ethic, it does not show the protagonist as some hero, instead just guy who has a rather meaningless violent existence conditioned by his meaningless environment to be dangerous as if he were not responsible.
A type of helpless violent existence. The movie is both realistic and crude.
Least Among Saints (2012)
Holding onto something meaningful
A man suffering the absurdity of life, ends up finding something meaningful in existence by caring for an Orphaned child by happenstance.
The critics who reviewed this movie are tragic, Plainly most people rated this movie, ten out of ten. Only men so far rated this movie one out of ten. If you take a look at the critics reviews, and look at the scoring this is really about how some men can not relate whatsoever in empathy, neither have the ability to relate as they do not develop attachments to anything other than themselves, and thus have no ability to understand this movie. As the critics claim this man suffers self pity, which he does not suffer at all.
He suffers the absurdity of life, that meaningless existence, to which people died and suffered in a meaningless matter, to which he has nothing meriting his own existence. Then through happenstance he ends up caring for an Orphaned child that has also suffered loss.
The story is not about a veteran, he happens to be a veteran, but the trauma of his life is about the meaninglessness of life to which he finds meaning caring for a child.
It is a simple Drama about a man willing to find some meaning in life by caring for an orphaned child , and it is a wonderful little simple story.
Mission: Impossible II (2000)
Action Porn.
The movie has no plot, some people think the movie actually has a plot, it does not, its much like classic seventies porn having endless lame justification for action, what drives the action is meritless. Much like some old porn movie, its not realistic, but it just invents something very lame to get naked and do some action. This movie is no different than a lame porn movie, except most lame porn movies have better plots than Mission Impossible Two.
The movie is packed full of action, each action scene is very visually beautiful, however each action scene is nothing more than a plagiaristic cliché from just about every action movie that had any merit. The movie has the creative insight of a turnip or some other vegetable, that has no proved creative insight. It is artistic, however plagiaristic clichés. Sadly most people do not know the difference from creative masterpieces, and copy cats who merely duplicate other men's work.
American Beauty (1999)
this movie is the American dream, which the movie calls a beauty.
this movie is the American dream, it is what we all aspire to be, the man had everything, the American dream should have, a wife and family, a white picket fence that nice home, two cars, nice paying upper class jobs.
The movie is the truth, in every way, after obtaining the American dream, the only thing one can hope for is a gun to the back the head without noticing. As it is a tragic thing I never aspired to have, and by all means make me grateful, that I did not fall in line with the American dream as if it were an American Beauty, as its ugly.
most people give this movie ten stars because they know they are ugly. And you know what, that only means you have no issue being as ugly as you are, and trust me, when I say when you do die, there is nothing but the black, just like your lame life.
pathetic! two stars, it gets one extra star for showing how pathetic most of you people are out there.
