Spirit of Fear (2023)

I am a true horror junkie. Found the trailer on YouTube, and decided to watch. At the beginning, I was confused of what was happening, but the acting of the main character kept me intrigued... he is so expressive. Without saying a word, he can transmit fear, anxiety, uncertainty. Without knowing what was it about I pushed through and I'm glad I did as the end has a great twist, it is fantastic.

With a religious background, I can appreciate what they trued to do. The similarities to demons and other facts, its very well thought off. I don't want this post to get flashed as a spoiler as I would like y'all to give it a try. Finally something less Hollywood. This movie is artistic, well thought off and you can see a labor of love.

I congratulate the whole cast and directors, it's refreshing to see something new and innovative.

Bad acting, just awful.

Not a Christmas classic. I couldn't understand anything with all the useless foul language. I was looking forward to seeing it so bad. What a disappointing movie and experience. The trailer is much better. I like violent, gory movies but this one is blah. Ready or not is SO MUCH BETTER. I don't know how to express it but it was not to my liking. My family hated it. The acting is deplorable. The concept boring and over done. Just bad as bad can get. The filming is cheap. Weird angles. Weird editing. Dumb script. I can't recover from something so bad. The face of the final scene, urgh SO BAD.

What a useless way to push racism. The young actress is pitiful. She has no cojones. Just look bland the whole movie. Nothing makes sense. Even the "masters" outburst - whhaaatttthhheeefffff I'm angry at such a STUPID movie. Its a horror movie cause its horrifically bad.

Very slow at the beginning but picked up. The end was SO rushed. Wish they would've edited it more. Dunno Good but forgettable. Lots of jump scares which for this kind of movie would've be necessary. They had to introduce story lines and other moments which were not necessary.

What an amazingly sweet beautifully filmed movie. My teenage daughters loooved it. No one even glanced at their phones. Ending left us warm and cozy talking about this lovely movie. Can't say enough. Completely recommend and the actors are phenomenal.

Ok I'm a mega fan of Naked and Afraid. Thought this show is interesting, it's GARBAGE! I'm just mad. It's the worse attempt to get into the corny trashy tvshows out there. DONT STOOP SO LOW AND AFRAID!

People don't loose your brain cells in this trash.

Really enjoyed this movie. I love the actress of the queen gambit (another great one, series worth watching). Great acting, it immerses you into what is happening. The twist is wow.

What s HORRIBLE movie. Saw it with my kids snd even they hated it. They love anything. The director did a horrible job. Writing was horrid. Boring. Ended up fast forwarding some bits. Yuck

I am a huge Netflix original fan but this one .... oh boy...... the sammmmeee thing episode after episode. Bad acting and want to be oh so sassy about everything with the dumb blonde flirting and just being plain boring and the guy just standing there like a moron.... Then they introduce this bad acting smocking lady..... Please stop making dumb things like this and continue investing in umbrella academy.... now that was amazing!
