102 Dalmatians (2000)
Did not hold up
I remember loving this film as a kid. Rewatching the film as an adult, the film does not hold up. I really remember the third act of the film before rewatching the film and it is going to be the only thing I remember. There are two fun scenes in my opinion. The ending and Cruella De Vil transformation back into her evil self. Glenn close is the only great thing from the film. This is not one you need to seek out if you have not seen it.
The House with a Clock in Its Walls (2018)
This was a surprise
I was surprise about how much I enjoy this film. Jack Black and Cate Blanchett are great together in this film. The film felt like a 80s kids horror film. I would love to see more films with these characters. There are a few poop jokes which were the worst part of the film (but these jokes seem to be expected in modern kids films). I feel like this film would have cult film status in a few years.
Doctor Strange (2007)
Doctor Strange Animated film review
I decided to give this a watch to get learn some background on Doctor Strange before the new movie comes out. I was very disappointed with this. I was hoping to see some cool animated magic fights but there was only one and it comes with eight minutes left in the movie. There are a lot of sword fights that do look good but are not what I wanted to see with a character that deals with magic. I was also hoping to see some other different worlds but again there was only one scene that was on a different world. The credits did show some images that I am guessing that are from Doctor Strange comics that were more interesting looking than what we got.
Unconditional (2012)
Unconditional Review
Synopsis: Lynn Collins (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) plays as Samantha Crawford after trying to kill herself, save a little girl Keisha played by Gabriella Phillips when hearing Macon played by Kwesi Boakye (Flight). When she was leaving the hospital, she ran into a friend that she hasn't seen in a long time "Papa" Joe Bradford played by Michael Ealy (Barbershop). After she going to the little girls after to pay back a promise, she see a guy named Anthony who killed her husband Billy played by Diego Klattenhoff (Pacific Rim). This film is a drama that is 92 minutes long. There were two things that add to the film. One lasted throughout the film and one when you get told at Anthony wasn't the guy who killed Billy. The other lasted for almost all of the film is when Keisha talks for the first time. Keisha can't talk because she saw her mother get killed. The first time you see her talk is when she is whispering to a horse and to her grandma. The intense with her want away when she started to talk to her grandpa I was mad. The acting is OK. Michael Ealy gave a good performance. The film goes by fast. I would give this movie a six out of ten. The acting is OK. The story is good. If you watch it on TV, you will not waste your time.
