What have they done

Why are we seeing movies going into the past all the time, some work but most don't.

I found this movie rather annoying at times, you relate to a character with their words and how they behave and the actions they do. The main human characters did not blend well into the story and did not follow a line that matched the story it was too predictable. We all recognise actors for their voice and when that voice does not match the character it does not bode well for the movie and the Director. Transformers will never be the same for me now give me more of the old with some of the characters who paid their dues over time.

Supercell (2023)

Don't waste your time

With a great cast I was expecting so much more. Title should of been dysfunctional family that try's not to chase storms. Watched the entire movie hoping it would get better, but alas no. The back ground music didn't match what was happening it made it lead into something great was going to happen but nothing. You never get to see any great action scenes everything just leads up to something but falls flat. At one stage I thought the son was a teenager with well below average intelligence as he did some enormously stupid things and his behaviour was like that of a child. Sorry to say but 4 star was very generous and do not recommend this movie at all.

Found this mini series just by chance while surfing through Amazon and glad I found it. Great look at what could happen if we don't don't clean up our act. There are some great tv series coming out of Britain and some regular actors giving us their best. The story line and characters were great but the mother and son were not consistent with characters they were playing. Great to see Matthew fox and always a fan of Tom Wlaschiha and Amber Rose Revah. Makes me wonder what life would be like if we could remove the need for refined oil in our every day life, Electric cars are still way too expensive and only for the wealthy. A must watch for every one who loves British shows.

Avatar: The Way of Water (2022)

Wonderful 3.15 hours

What a wonderful way to spend over 3 hours. Got my first viewing at the new IMAX cinema and a fresh pair of 3D glasses. Chose the best seats with direct Line of sight to the screen. Loved how the storey at the beginning told you about their life leading up to present and the new family dynamics. Saw the first avatar 5 times in 3D so hopefully will try and see this one just as many times. The under water scenes were mesmerising with the animal creations and the ocean waves and under water life. I loved how the storey delved into pandora's mother Ewa and how everything is linked. Can't wait for the next movies and the team from Weta did an amazing job and James Cameron really bought us his storey.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)

Going going gone

Watched episode 3 and I am done, Each episode is so short and never really gets into the story. Loved the idea of the series but it is not playing out well and not well executed. Come on Marvel you had better do some serious editing to keep the viewers happy.

I am a huge fan of Tatiana Maslany when she was in Orphan Black and was looking forward to see what she would bring to the Marvel Family. I enjoyed Benedict Wongs small role he played and how there is room for more in the future plus Tim Roth always makes an impact in whatever role he plays.

Can't really put my finger on the one thing I don't enjoy about the series as there are too many.

Good but ---- whoops the end

Ok I was looking forward to episode 2 as 1 had me wanting more, I was just getting into it then WHAM it's over, Marvel what are you doing is the cost or producing each episode so high you cannot give a full 45 minute each episode or something else going on. Hawkeye gave us between 42-50 minutes each episode, The Flacon/winter soldier gave us way more. I am starting to loose interest in Marvel tv/movies we need/want/deserve more than what we are getting to keep us loyal to the brand.

Stop bad voice overs

I was 5 minutes into the movies and just could not watch any more. I would of preferred subtitles over voice overs it was the worst I have ever seen. Come on Netflix please warn viewers before we start a movie I was so looking forward to it.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (2022)

Don't see what everyone is Moaning about. Great movie with fantastic characters and magic scenes, loved the critters and the rolling on from the previous movies. Just watched the movie again at home my partner and we both thoroughly enjoyed.

Moon Knight (2022)

Started off great but seems to be drifting off into the Abyss. Not sure if I can continue to watch if it doesn't get better, enjoying Halo more than this series.

The Book of Boba Fett (2021–2022)

Wonderful series

Loved the storey explaining what happened to Boba Fett and linking his storey with other characters and giving you more formation about the tribes. This is a great series can't wait for more.

Invasion (2021–2024)

Very disappointing

Was looking forward to this series but sadly have been let down. Was very disappointed with some characters. A mother of 2 with a husband who is having an affair you can see why he did have the affair. Can someone please tell her kids to grow up and when danger is in play you don't scream your head off. This can be blamed on the director though. Hopefully it will get better.

Not sure what was the motive behind this series and the story they are trying to tell . The original series well done with a great story right from the beginning. Not sure if I will make it through episode 2.

Dune (2021)

Don't ruin a great movie

I am an old fan of the original movie and remembered most of the sayings that were used. This twist of story did not go down well with this version the graphics were better with greater opportunities for the CGI but it seemed to skip a few details. It dragged on with unimportant scenes hopefully the second movies will move at a better pace. Still enjoyed it but getting a bit tired of movies with part one and part 2 a year or 2 later and then hang on let's make it a 3 part movies series. Just give me 3 hours in One sitting thank you I may not be alive in 1-2 years time (just kidding) but enough is enough.

Raya and the Last Dragon (2021)

Wonderful dream world

Thoroughly enjoyed, great storey and characters even had me crying at the end. Loved how it progressed from one kin to the next and each character had its own unique gift to give the journey.

Black Widow (2021)

Great movie shame it took so long to get here

Great movie typical MCU with a black widow twist. Fun to watch with surprises and great fight scenes. It fills all the gaps with the black widow character. Not sure why people gave it a bad rating. I enjoyed it and looking forward to more MCU movies. Where is the Hawkeye movie for his disturbing time after the blip happened. Each main character needs to have their own movie not just tv series. Looking forward to the Hawkeye series and what's next for Falcon & Winter Soldier. Keep it coming MCU and stop making us wait too long for the next MCU movie, the actors and I are not getting any younger.

Not bad but not great

Was not sure what I was expecting and the line up of actors didn't seem too bad. It had some good moments but felt a little stupid at times. Might appeal to some viewers hope you enjoy the movie.

Right from the start and there was an sanction scene at the beginning had me double taking, something is not right here. Very poor script and acting and the fight scenes were very badly done. Not much more I can say glad it was only on Netflix .

Greenland (2020)

Wow what a surprise. I had read a few reviews and went into the movie with an open mind. Not your typical disaster movie more true to American style than anything else. But great to see the disaster from a family rather than government plotted storyline. Great roles played by all The main characters with less stereotypes and more genuine roles as well. Definite movie to add to my library when it comes out on Blueray

24: Live Another Day (2014)

I never watched the full series when originally broadcast due the delays and everything else but I have just binge watched the entire 8 seasons and this season 24: Live Another Day and thoroughly enjoyed it. each episode keeps you engaged with twists and turns, the 12 Episodes was good mind you I enjoyed the 24 episode from the previous 24 it dragged out the day and gave the audience more wider view of what was going on. Loved the characters and taking the viewer to another country was great idea I would love to see it come back with another lead character possible the Kate Morgan character as she was kick ass like Jack Bauer and had attitude. Plus with Chloe O'Brien they would make 2 kick ass chicks with their own show. So to whoever is out there please bring back 24

Mulan (2020)

I was looking forward to this movie, Great actors and the hope was there but alas I was left feeling like something was missing. I was not wowed by the characters and the fighting scenes felt like they needed more. It started off ok and I was enjoying it than it felt flat and stale is it because i was expecting too much after this long dry spells of nothing much happening with movies. Mind you I will watch it a couple more times to see if i missed anything and When it comes out on 4K i may even buy a copy just to add it to my movie collection. Great viewing everyone and hope you get some enjoyment from the movie.

Reminds me of The 100 series in some ways but the story is very hard to understand. There is is not enough interaction between the characters to make any sense. Yes they have been blind for generations but they fight like people who have no idea how to do it and they talk of things that make no sense. I will persevere and hope it gets better

Could not wait for JW 3 , was looking forward to the great fight scenes and quirky way JW kills. Was a little disappointed the fight scene were too predictable. Great fight scene with Haley Berry and the dogs though. Here hoping JW 4 will go back to the things that made JW 1 & 2 Great to watch
