Neeyat (2023)
Ok story ruined by super substandard direction, cinematography, background score and acting
I gave two stars coz the story, despite mostly being predictable, is not bad. But literally everything else about it is horrendous. The super "intense" scenes are almost comical. At one point we were like is this meant to be a comedy. The direction has has no grace, the cinematography is just awkward and the whole pacing and feel of the movie just feels wrong. The substandard background score doesn't help. Neither does the substandard acting of most actors save Vidya Balan and 3 mins of Shefali shah. I hope the movie makers watch knives out again and again so some of the quality rubs off on the next thing they make. Not watching anything from this director again.
Kaali Khuhi (2020)
terrible terrible execution of good idea
The social message of female infanticide in India combined with horror is a great idea but this director along with terrible screenplay has managed to make it a complete waste of time.
Star Wars Resistance (2018)
do not watch unless you're 7 or younger
It's appalling. I mean it is good if you're a 7 year old or possibly younger and do not really have any idea of or feel for the star war universe. So goofy and comical it is almost irritating like little kitty/princess shows. As someone who has followed star wars closely in video and print, this is the worse disney has come up so far following episode 7 and 8. (Rogue one was good, rebels was quite good in the end an solo was Ok.) But this. If you are a star wars fan I would stay away from it. I tried and each time I forced myself to watch an episode i ended up spoiling my mood.
I mean I get it they want to target younger audiences and make more money. they can just make other shows. there is no need to spoil the star wars universe with this cr**. Just stick to making mickey mouse/princess shows.
