One Day (2024)
Just lovely
I don't normally watch anything romantic... it's not my cup of tea.... But this, was just lovely. It'll keep you thinking after, I just love how Dex looks at Emma. Always. It's very sweet. You might even watch bits of it again, like I have. The series has a lot of talking in it, because Emma, talks, so it might be a serious only you watch if you have friends that fall asleep.....but when you can't watch it, you'll be thinking of it.
Romantics will like it, thriller watchers might like it :-)
It's interesting watching the young adults grow up. The chemistry between the two is a beauty, you can really feel it and it just keeps you wanting to come back for more.
Im not sure I'll want to watch the actor who played Dex in anything else. I want only this memory of him...
Equinox (2020)
I really enjoyed this
But the ending was disappointing
I get it, I understand the purpose of it all
It was great though. You will enjoy it and the English dub was brilliant like all Danish English dubovers
Dark (2017)
Enjoyed it for a limited time only
The first 2 seasons I couldn't get enough of. If I wanted to do things while watching it I would listen to the god awful voiceover.
The last season though, just a disgrace. Mind blowing ridiculous
The Rookie (2018)
Binge-worthy
I really enjoy this, we don't get many cop show's in NZ.
I hope they keep renewing this for years to come if it carries on the way it is.
The added camera footage is awesome.
The only thing that annoys me so far, is how slack the seatbelts are.... attention to detail!
Ultraviolet (2017)
Mildly addictive
It's a good watch, hope another series comes out. Subtitles are a bit fast.
Somewhere Between (2017)
Better than the first episode
The first episode definitely gave the vibe it was going to be terrible. An annoying 8yo that listens to no one and a wife with terrible acting. Turns out she's a pretty good actress, the wife, not the kid.
Definitely found Nico like Gerald Butler at times.
It improved from about episode 3. I was hooked and binged the season in 48 hours.
A few big twists and then the ending.
Highly recommend if you can get through the first 2 episodes
Frequency (2016)
Try and make it past the "pilot"
I was a bit apprehensive after struggling my way through the pilot. I forced myself to give this a chance and watched the 2nd episode. You won't regret it I hope! I watched the last 4 episodes in quick succession after work and before work, I was hooked. I thought Riley Smith's character was a bit weak and his daughter bossed him around a bit but he came through in the end. I hope you enjoy.
