I Used to Be Famous (2022)
Vince is Talentless!
This movie is proof that Netflix is desperately in trouble. It's beyond me who decided to make a movie about a musician with zero talent? Vince is tone deaf, has a HORRIBLE VOICE, and is a stiff actor. It's impossible to root for him on any level, because it doesn't make sense to root for someone to succeed where they appear to have no talent or skill. Throughout the movie, I only hoped that he would give up on music, be realistic, and find something that he's good at. I understand and appreciate the plot and the intent of the movie, I only wish that it could have been done in a more professional manner that made the movie enjoyable to watch.
The Haunting of Hill House (2018)
Very Engaging. Wonderful adaptation of the orginal.
Experty tells a story and then pulls it all together through flashbacks. The characters are truly believable and very attractive. :D You feel the pains they are experiencing and understand the reasons they grieve.
Bending All the Rules (2002)
I've been hoodwinked!!
We couldn't even make it through the first 15 minutes of this pile of sophomoric dung. I've seen better acting and more compelling story lines in bad porn. Don't let the crooks that released this on video get another dollar from you simply because it has Bradley Cooper in it eight years before he got lucky and was cast in Hangover. Bradley cooper is a stiff, unskilled, dope in this movie. His acting is pathetic and yet still better than the others in the movie. This is simply something someone found lost on the floor amidst a pile of bad Pauly Shore movies for the last 9 years. Their greed coaxed them into releasing it on video with the hopes of suckering in a bunch of people to unknowingly fork over a couple bucks to taint their DVD players with this festering pus-filled boil of shame. I was hoodwinked. I hope you read this review before you're hoodwinked too.
