Napoleon (2023)

Greatly Disappointed and Underwhelmed.

My family and I watched this last night and were left wanting.

This movie took forever to develop and the acting was hit or miss at best. This seemed more like a boring docudrama than a feature film. It was true that Joaquin Phoenix " Did not know what to do". His character did not find his groove in this movie and that's a shame because I love his work.

There were some continuity issues as well as the disjointed editing. The editing seem to cut at all the wrong areas. Special effects were great in some areas, while battle scenes seem to be cut and pasted.

The best areas seem to be the cinematography and the costumes. Costume designs were absolutely PERFECT. The only thing needing editing was the editor.

I love Ridley Scott and am hopeful on future projects.

I was going to give this a 8. But after all episodes I was left wanting...Hence the 5. The episodes.regurgitates previous events of the story every 10 minutes. You keep hearing the same dialogue over.and over. And over again. I'm sorry.....Yes ...Over and over again. With proper editing...This could be a 30 min show But the worst part ...is that they dont tell you the CONCLUSION of the process. You will never know how long the guilty was imprisoned for or what happened when released. A lot of these crimes were committed many years ago. WE NEED ANSWERS. We need to know the final outcome of these crime.

True Crime Story: It Couldn't Happen Here (2021– )

Not worthy of True Crime show Status... Please,,,, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME on this one

This show usually depicts family, friends, bloggers and defense attorneys in support of the convicted. They generally have 1 maybe 2 people on the side of the prosecution. NEVER talking to the victims or prosecutor and refers to mostly exculpatory or speculative evidence,

Evidence presented on this show is mostly shown as hearsay, lying witnesses, bad evidence and bad police practices.

Hilarie Burton is definitely unrealistic and unconvincing while hosting this show. Her constant elbow on the table while holding her hand to her face seems totally insincere and invented. She never interviews victims of the crimes or speaks to people with opposing views. She only shows a cursory glance at the victims.,

This show reveals why some "podcast type" programs have gone too far or not far enough.

I have literally watched 100's and 100's of crime shows, but this is one of the worst. Do not look for any mercy here,

This film is the reason Covid 19 has affected the movies of late, Past talent have embarked on a journey of self serving platitudes to revive their careers with scant writing and even worse acting. I was hoping for a great film, but was left wanting. It was a long and drawn on out with no end in sight. Sorry...I love the actors but was disappointed.

Worst Costumes Ever

The costumes are the worst ever. Absolutely ruins the movie for me, Seeing these oversized epaulets makes me laugh and takes away from this film, Minimalism has its place in this Franchise.

Pleasantly Surprised!!

I expected a Left Wing slant on elections. But was surprised to find that even the smallest elections can be overtaken and/or destroyed by politics and PAC's from both parties. Although I don't agree with all John Stewart's views I agree with his realistic view of elections,..for a change. Great Ending!!! Maybe we can agree on some issues after all!

This show is Horribly directed with Horrible acting. The plot lines are pathetic. It is so predictable with the last 5 years of dramas in the market with NO refreshing ideas, If they are trying to compete with other shows, then they failed miserably.. ABC....Cut the cord quick!!!

His Name Should Be 50 PerCent not 50 Cent...... I got Half My Money's Worth !!!

Where do I get the time back in my life from watching this movie. I was drawn to this movie for De Niro and Whitaker but was quickly pushed back by 50 Cent.

The acting by 50 Cent was absolutely the worst thing I have seen since my 2 year old told me he didn't poop his diaper even though I could smell the stench across the room. I guess if you can produce it, you can star in it. That says a lot for his skills at selecting talent as a producer. LOL !!!

De Niro and Whitaker saved the story and the movie had some decent camera work but that's about it.

50 Cent............... I want CHANGE !!!!

Ghost Recon: Alpha (2012)

Wow !!!

This is an excellent Short !!!

I was hesitant at first and probably expecting very little in 20 minutes. Boy, was I more wrong. This Short really blew me away from start to finish with no lag time in the action.

Great pace and fluid story told in near future-tense. It is well directed with great special effects and camera work. Acting is surprisingly well done as well

Rhea Scott should be proud. One would hope that this could be a full feature release some day.
