Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns (2013)
'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns' a must watch!
'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns' is a fine woven drama in pure Tigmanshu Dhulia's style and definitely a must watch. The screenplay is humorous, serious, erotic, revengeful & dramatic at the same time. The first half of the movie is good, though second half loses its momentum. The climax is little bit unexpected and should be, neither it would have been just a remake of its first part 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster'. O.o
You'll feel that you are watching some old classic cinema in between the modern gangsterism. Good performance by all, i.e. Jimmy Sheirgill, Mahie Gill, Irrfan Khan, Soha Ali Khan, but one more time Irrfan is the best. Hats off the writer(Again Tigmanshu) for the super fabulous dialogues, you cannot easily forget them like me. ;)
Be aware it's not 'High speed Bullet train' but a 'Tamancha on Bicycle' ; so commercial movie viewers, please stay away.
Rating is above average but not more than 7 due to a few weak scenes. :)
Kai po che! (2013)
A simply fabulous watch!!! :)
'Tere sikko kii khanak inn hawaaon kii keemat ko kum kar rahi hai' - Kai Po Che 'Kai Po Che' is not just filmography of The 3 Mistakes of My Life, but far far beyond it. I just don't have enough words to write about one of another best movies on Friendship after RDB and ZNMD. A simply fabulous watch!!! :) Movie's story runs around Cricket, the most popular religion in India, and apocalyptic Gujarat earthquake to Godhra riots showing other two religions. O_o The movie has bunch of laughters, unstoppable tears, eye catching romance & heart touching humanity as best as it can. I'm your serious fan Mr. Abhishek Kapoor. ^_^ Don't give a single second to decide but just enter into theater with your very best friends. You don't know how precious your moments are with your friends until you don't lose them...!!! :( Can't compromise lesser! (Rating - 10/10)
Race 2 (2013)
Race 2 is nothing but just show-off...
Race 2 is nothing but just show-offs of fancy cars, faces and freaks.
Agent Vinod was an average watch and far better, so you can firmly skip this Rat Race and better watch any Fast & Furious again.
Stunts were shot childish and story line was another weak point. The looks of John and Saif were good but you don't watch a movie just for their look.
Girls were eye candies nothing else. Fight scenes could have been lot better and director has failed focusing on the theme of this movie.
Before the end you already know, what is going to happen!
Thumbs down to Race2 ! (1.5/5 Rating)
Vishwaroopam (2013)
'Vishwaroopam' an International exposure!
'Vishwaroopam' is not just typical South Indian cinema but an International exposure. Don't go just to see the controversy but to watch an excellent direction & class performance of Kamal Hasan & Rahul Bose.
The topic of terrorism, Bin Laden & 9/11 is an eye catcher for Hollywood directors now a days and Kamal Hasan has followed the same theme, but in his very own style.
'Vishwaroopam' hasn't even said a 10% what 'Khuda ke Liye' showed about Terrorism & Muslims, so I'm amazed why they're against the movie. If it were directed by some Hollywood or Lollywood director, our politicians wouldn't have said a single word and appreciated. Rahul's dialogue - "America is shedding blood for petrol, we're shedding blood to protect Allah" - gives you an idea of the plot.
Alas! we don't work on banning the Rapists & stopping the Terrorism but put our efforts on banning movies. Freedom of speech must be allowed in our country if we want to watch true art cinema.
Undoubtedly, it's a must watch, though a few scenes could have been edited to make it more serious. The sense of humor is unbalanced at times due to its South Indian nature. Not 9 or 7 but a perfect (8/10 Rating)! ;)
Inkaar (2013)
Inkaar nahi Ikraar......!!!!
Inkaar nahi Ikraar......!!!! After Yeh Saali Zindagi, Sudhir Mishra has done another excellent job in his direction. Chitrangda Singh at her best including Arjun Rampal! I'm so simply impressed! :) The story is not only about Sexual harassment at work place but the relationships people make to get better position and growth in their careers.
The movie screens the controversial topic how we interpret the difference between flirting and harassment. Till the time it is being enjoyed, it is allowed and we say it 'Fun working environment' but just after fulfilling the requirement, the intentions change and convert their faces to be Sexual Harassment and 'Tharkipana'. O_o
I watched Akshay's starrer Aitraaz (2004) on the same topic, but Inkaar tops the chart and without focusing on Male chauvinism or Female's ambition, it depicts a neutral observation and confusions created in 'Working together relationships'.
The movie will be a sure flop on box office because it'll have only specific set of patient viewers, though it's a very must watch specially for them who observe/encounter people doing similar activities . (9/10 rating) ^_^
