Badhaai Do (2022)
Every movie has it's faults, so does this! But....
Well, even if movie is not up to the mark, sometimes concessions have to be made to appreciate it when the heart is in the right place. So, maybe 9 is not the score this movie deserves but I'm giving it anyway. To some of lgbtq community this movie might feel a bit too generic, maybe makers might have intented it to be to of appeal to a broad audience but it still might end up sensitizing a lot of people to lgbt issues. Some of the community think that this has a wrong message but i don't think the movie preaches or have any motives to say something is right. This movie only explains one situation of two individuals who make a choice to do what they think they should. This mkvie has it's moments with genuine feelings and thoughts with matching portrayals. I'm expecting who lot of shows and movies touching this topic and make them more normal just like any other.
Shrek Forever After (2010)
I think this is the best of the series!
This is the best in the entire installment. I don't know why people don't think so, why it's a bit underrated, but this is one movie that was didn't feel like a comedy which isn't a bad thing but this movie has heart and my first 3d movie in the cinema!
The Suicide Squad (2021)
This has been one of the biggest waste of my time!
So basically, just make a movie of weird people with weird powers, make it somewhat funny and show a lot of gore, and you've got a hit on your hands! I'll stick to watching animation movies, thanks!
Daredevil (2015)
The best marvel show, mc & villain there'll ever be!
Everyone has their own set of morale that they think is good or evil or right or wrong or just. A brilliant composition of people struggling with their decisions like the rest of us. There are just no words to express discontinuation of this show! This show along with most of it's orginal characters has to come back.
Invincible: It's About Time (2021)
A whole lot of fun!
Love the old school animation (but would help if it more fluidity) and there'll be no bloodless child violence. The episode had character and soul and plenty of action and hope for more.
Evening Shadows (2018)
Genuine intentions!
This movie, at times a but unrealistic, still manages to touches all the right aspects of a guy coming out in a traditional family. The relationship between the guy and his mother are warm and true. Just a gentle kiss between the partners would've made it even more genuine.
Miss Americana (2020)
Don't believe the bad reviews!
I'm not a fan of taylor swift by any stretch of imagination but u can't help but feel related to her. The tribulations for a famous young woman star are endless and jarring, that's the truth. The other things to take away without a doubt are that 'the view' is the worst show on the face of the earth and kanye is a despicable human being!
It's a Sin (2021)
Absolutely worth the watch!
It's hard to watch any show or movie that was set during the aids epidemic. But this show looks more into the individuals and the group as a whole. A bit of fun, happiness, love, suffering. Reminds us of thinga we take for granted everyday. Be kind to others.
The King (2019)
Elegant and poignant!
The movie doesn't waste a single minute of screentime to veer away from the subject matter. It's long, it doesn't feek like it. Story has been adapted to perfection. Do watch it.
Wake Up Sid (2009)
One that gives you better perspective of life!
This isn't the best bollywood movie or that it deserves oscar. This is a movie that just works. The actors, the story, the dialogues, the wittiness are all solidly glued. This movie gives u a perspective of your own version of a life, that filled with warmth, kindness, understanding, love and meaning. I only hope that we see more such beautiful works in an industry that's so bland and repetitive. Kudos to creators.
The Croods: A New Age (2020)
Apart from a few genuine laughs, the movie is a joke!
This movie is like one of the those disney shows that's been rebooted as a horrifying children's comedy. If u have seen the first movie and loved it, don't watch this one.
The Hardy Boys (2020)
Entertaining but mildly! Could have be so much better!
I have never read the books! The only two characters that interested me were joe and db, the rest are far too uninteresting and bland. The story starts of okay, but drags and becomes a little boring as u move forward and the mystery is not all that engaging. A good watch if u don't have something better.
Happiest Season (2020)
The heart's in the right place, but.......
The story they tried to tell is honest, sweet and warming, but the execution is not upto the mark. The performances of the leads in this movie fall flat and as much i like HEA's, this one is just two cheesy and off for my taste. I hope the next time someone involves big name actors for lgbt themed movies, i hope they make sure to get it right. This feels too much like a hallmark movie rather than the big budget starring big names premiering on hulu sort of movie.
Été 85 (2020)
Beautifully made movie!
I'm not a fan of death, but still gotta love the way how beautifully the movie was made. The feelings were on point, felix lefebvre is a good actor.
Warrior: To a Man With a Hammer, Everything Looks Like a Nail (2020)
Pretty good!
This episode was where, 50's western, a telenovela and a kung fu movie, all wrapped in one!
The Mandalorian: Chapter 9: The Marshal (2020)
So much resource wasted!
I can't believe that so much resources are being put into this unbelievably abysmal crap!
Schitt$ Creek (2015)
Funny, warm, easy and charming!
This isn't your run of the mill comedy! I have never seen such a great cast that every one of them is awesome. It's very easy, funny, charming, you'll be glad u started watching by the first episode, and by the end of series, you'll heart will be very very warm! Watch it!
Kiss the Ground (2020)
Watch and learn it!
How much no tilling, no artificial chemicals, cover crops, balanced grazing, can really transform our soil! All we need now is commitment!
October Sky (1999)
Fu..ing gem of a movie!
How dreams and working towards them are so important in life. The children, strudents, let their minds run free and wild!
Alex Rider (2020)
Never read the book!
The storyline, you've seen before. But the visuals and score make the show very entertaining. Do watch the show!
This Way Up (2019)
Top notch acting and humor!
If you're one of those who can relate to the main character, you'll live this show. If not, you'll live it for it's ridiculous humor. Aisling bea is one heck of a talent!
Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan (2020)
Pretty dissappointed!
One kiss in the dark, lame comedy and messed up facts. At the end, the movie portrays as if being was a criminal act, in fact it wasn't, having sex with thr same person was. It was horrifying to watch these messedup facts om screen. It was supposed to be a good entertainer and at the same time inform people on being different than the norm, which it failed to do so.
Love, Victor (2020)
It's pretty good!
Starts off slow, things start to turn late in the season. Some actors need more experience and some are good. Why does the mom look like sofia vergara? Anyway, this show deserved to be netflix or prime, so that the whole world could watch it, since disney is too scared and homophibic to let it be on it's platform! Damn u disney.
Love, Simon (2018)
Well obviously a little far from reality, but
There are so many movies that are far from reality, so kany straight romance movies have happy endings, so why not a gay movie too? Only sore thing this movie has is that whole blackmail thing.
Front of the Class (2008)
One of a kind!
The actor is so believable that you would belive he has Tourette's. Amazing movie, moves you in lot of ways.
