Haunt (2013)
One of the best horror movies I have ever watched
A film which was not promising at first, which I have stumbled upon accidentally, proved to be very thrilling. The acting is very satisfying, I would say go ahead for everyone who wants to get psyched a little. Managed to scare me here and there, but really scare me, something almost no horror movie managed to do. Although the concept maybe a tad washed up: haunted house which has gone through a tragedy and a new family moving in, plus a creepy daughter in the new family, it does tend to jump off a little and not exactly follow the clichés. As I sad previously, highly recommendable and a real pleasure to watch. Definitely one of the best horror flicks I have watched recently.
Man of Steel (2013)
Boring
The director focused too much on special effects and how to bring the fight scenes to life, so the movie lacks in story and plot. Mediocre acting performances. Unnecessarily long, I always prefer short movies because if I don't like it - the ''torture'' won't last as long. This is only the second time in all of my life that I spent most of the time at the cinema staring at the ceiling. My friends' opinions were mostly similar, pointing out the large number of fight scenes with special effects, almost no story at all, however, they did mark it as ''watchable''. Maybe it's just me, but if you're someone who likes to sort of bond with the characters and the movie itself, Man of Steel should definitely not be on your must watch list.
Klip (2012)
Watching this was torture.
This is undoubtedly one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It wasn't ''I wasted my money on this'' type of bad, it was more like ''When is this torture going to end, I want my mommy'' bad. It's supposed to carry out a message. I didn't see any message. All I saw was a young couple having sex for most of the time, and every now and then they showed how the girl's father was ill and the boy was a hooligan. Then it was back to the sex again. This movie doesn't even have a plot. The film is about 90 minutes long. It took me about 150 minutes to watch the whole thing because I was easily distracted by things on the internet, because I watched the film on my computer. The characters are also empty and you can't really relate to them. It's totally disgraceful and I was lost for words when I read it won an award at some film festival. Friendly peace of advice, don't waste your time on this, it's a pointless, poorly shot film.
