Good cover story,...lame
10 June 2022
Besides the movie was lame, bad acting, bad directing, sappy music, melodramatic face zooms.... At the end of the day, the dirt of the Waco story has surfaced and this is a shameful attempt to cover for a military action against citizens in this country. CS gas was used on that compound, a volatile solvent that would be considered a war crime if used in a time of war since it was banned by the Geneva Convention in 1925. CS Gas has a long history of burning buildings to the ground, go look into it. Fact is, Janet Reno and everyone involved should have been hanged. Bet you a beer IMDB doesn't publish this review.

Simply bad...

If you are going to make a western and one of your go-to actors is Ashton Kutcher, you dont stand a chance. The movie is lame, choppy, has no plot and threw actual historical events right out the window. This should have been edited down to a 30 minute TV special. I'd have better spent my time watching one of those sissy chick flicks the girlfriend saved on my list. I am no dumber for having watched this....

Not sure about anyone else, but the whole "end of world, we're all dead" over some trees or fishing has been beat to death. I made it about 30 minutes into the movie before I cut it off. So Earth is dead, we have the technology to live elsewhere and can come and go as we please to test....but we don't have a GPS and can get lost in the fog. Only a simpleton would enjoy (another) movie of this genre...

You will be disappointed....

So I run across this trailer and see my boys Jackie and Arnold in what appeared to be a non-typical movie; I'm Game! or so I thought.

Found it in a Red Box, took it home and knew in a matter of moments that the movie was going to suck simply due to the bad voice-over dubbing. 20 minutes into the movie and I realize that Jackie and Arnold, who were the center of attention in the trailer, were only supporting actors.

I know movies are going to suffer through the lack of filming during a COVID year but this is ridiculous. I paid 2 bucks for the Red Box, I feel like I should get $1.50 change back...

Yawn.

This movie has an amazing cast, which would make one expect an amazing movie. The movie built itself into a let down.

The plot was thin, razor thin. Of course it had to be about a woman. The "action' was nothing more than noise and 2 solid hours of camera shaking.

They attempted to toss in some comedy to mask the thin storyline, it didn't work.

HGH has not been good to Mr. Stallone, he still is deflated and his face is going downhill fast.

The obvious flaws are hard to count. From 50 round mags for the good ole 1911, to RPG's flipping duce and a half trucks in place.

The knife play in the movie was way overdone.

This movie is worth a rental, but def not worth adding to a home collection. Thank goodness I missed it in the Theatre.

I give the movie a 5 as it is still better than most action flicks produced in recent years, but its far from what I expected considering the great cast of actors in one flick.
