Ouufh. don't know where to begin. Read the book instead.
You will only be dissapointed about the bad acting and flatness. It could have been great, but falls deep into the "don't touch with a fork" tray of movies that should be forgotten for all eternity.

A better investment of your time would be to go take a dump. Or watch any of the nineteen million episodes of Days of our lives. It would be more meaningful. The story is about Brad who looks for his dad, which happens to take place in space.
At the end of the movie he says "Why go on" And thats a very good question. Why Go on and watch this at all? I dont know. Maybe if you like to se braindead moving pictures of space, but i guess Google Image search works better for that purpose, and would give you a lot more joy because you at least can use for fantasy and imagine that the pictures are moving. The movie would have been better if it started with the end scene and then just showed a black image for 2 hours. that would have saved some time. Do not recommend for anyone with a brain. Will avoid directors James Gray & Ethan Gross as they seem to enjoy making movies without a purpose and story.

Wow, this movie completely enhance the rumor about how bad successor movies can be. This movie completely destroys everything that is good with beauty and the beast and consolidates the rumor of America as a country without a soul for movies at a high pace. My 4 stars are for Emma Watsons acting. It might be good if you have a serious in-your-head romance for Emma Watson and like movies without a heart and like to watch a "new movie" without any other acting or art skills with a director that shouted "thats probably OK, we will go for that".
It's almost unimaginable how they could destroy all other characters than Emma Watson. And what happened with Gaston? Why? WHY??

Liked the movie because it contained both surfing and drama. The actors performed well and i think this movie is perfect to watch with the hole family together.
If i could compare this with some other movies in the same genre it should be a mixup of family-movies, teenage movies and family dramas, the movies that comes up to my mind is: jurassic park (offcourse for the drama), some typical high-school-movie, nature documentary, adventure-movie, and some random higshcool movie about girls who look at fine guys.
Anyhow, this movie is great for the whole family, it contains both action, a coldhearted girl, warm love, some guys your teenage daughter will like, drama and adventure, see it.
