Raised by Wolves: The Beginning (2020)
Finale is a dumpster fire. Defund Season 2
If I could use a train ride as a metaphor for this series then to start the train pulls pulls out of the station rather roughly. It does pick up speed and begins to go smoothly. Some nice views and some great passengers. But then just as it gets up to top speed, the turn ahead is way to sharp. It can't make the turn and it all ends in a huge train wreck. It never makes it to the destination. You want it to reach the station but it never does. Just a giant train wreck that will make you wish you never got on board season one and I will not be aboard season two.
Floor Is Lava (2020)
Who didn't play this as a kid. Fun to watch
We played this in our basement as kids on our parents furniture. Now as a game show it is fun to watch.
IMDb on the Scene - Interviews: The Wrong Missy (2020)
Great comedy worth the time
Great Netflix comedy that will keep you entertained. Adam Sandler regulars make appearances to make this a funny movie that entertains.
Expedition Unknown (2015)
This should be called Dirty Jobs Archeology edition.
Archeology as a reality show is a stupid idea. The show should is really just dirty jobs in history field. The host inserts himself in the most lamest way and works with "experts" in the lamest ways. This is the Mr. Magoo on TV learning.
Mental Samurai (2019)
Why the robot? Oh my neck!
It's a good trivia type show but the contestant chair attached to an industrial robot is a stupid gimmick. This has to be the only trivia show where the waiver must contain lines about liability regarding whiplash and back injury.
The Titan Games (2019)
It is American Ninja but with a wind bag host.
The biggest challenge of this show is getting through Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's jabber about how he designed and created each challenge.
As American Ninja is a clone of the Japanese Ninja Show. Titan Games is a clone of the American Ninja show. And with any clone of a clone the outcome is often less than desirable.
BattleBots (2015)
Season 3 new format is the best
The new season 3 format is way more entertaining than previous years. Please stick with it.
The Predator (2018)
No it's as bad as they say.....what happened to ther dog?
It was the worst predator movie made to date. The premise is bad. It has the parts of a predator movie. A bunch of military dudes come together to fight a predator. Include a strong woman scientist and then put them together at a secret lab to go on to fight a predator. Add the evil government guys trying to capture and collect the alien tech in pursuit. Large wooded areas. It's all there but it goes horribly wrong. Adding the father and son angle was ridiculous. Someone has some father issues they need help with.
The story asks a lot from the viewer. We are expected to swallow some foolish dialogues and dumb plot points. Using a high school microscope in a RV we are to believe that the character can determine a scientific reason behind what is happening. That's gold Jerry, gold.
Is is so bad that they have Olivia Munn's dog in the movie for a brief moment only to be to scooped up the government guys that come to get her and she is told "we will take care of your dog ma'am". Sorry I'd not be leaving my dog with no government agency. This and other not well thought out story transitions make this movie a complete mess.
They should have rebooted the series or left it alone. Waste of time and money.
Bright (2017)
We need the sequel now.
This is a great movie that keeps you watching. I only picked up my mobile once to see who was in the cast. It is Bad Boys meets Lord of the Rings in modern day. Humans, Orcs, and Elves may not be for everyone, but there is more to it. It is Middle Earth in the modern age.
What is with the bad reviews and poor scores (Vanity Fair/Hollywood Reporter)? This has to be conspiracy by "main stream" critics to quash Netflix's big budget block buster aspirations. Please drop everything, we need the sequel now.
The Crown: Dear Mrs. Kennedy (2017)
Michael C Hall really
Of all the actors out there the pick of Michael C Hall as Kennedy was a horrible choice. It's Dexter with a bad Boston accent. The series has been amazingly cast up until casting Dexter to a role he is unfit to play.
Come on it's Michael C Hall a graduate of the Matt Damon school of acting.
Secrets of the Underground (2017)
The show should called debunking ridiculous ideas with technology
Season 1 - The show's main theme seems to start with a ridiculous idea and then the skeptical host begins to debunk or confirm the idea with technology. With only a very little explanation about the technology. There is not much here expect to watch a "skeptical host" unravel some mystery with random guests using some technology to debunk or prove the show idea.
There is a lot of hype before each commercial about possible outcomes and amazing finds that somehow all seem to be created by aliens.
If you love shows the solve mysteries with guys pointing at computer monitors of ground penetrating radar output then this is your show.
