Love Actually (2003)
cheesy, christmasy, but I like it
Is it the Christmas season or just the lack of good TV program at that time of year that lowers all my criteria, I don't know. Usually I'm not a big fan of romantic comedies. I never choose them when I go to cinema. But I saw this film at least three times on TV and it's a perfect film for a hot cacao and a blanket. I like the music in the film. It's nicely integrated to make an important part of the atmosphere. It's several stories interlinked among them with nicely made ties. Human relations, love and care are topics that are always actual and interesting. A since everybody loves and want to be loved, you find a piece of the movie that just touches you.

Total trash - I adored it!
I saw the film as it was opening a great festival I like. I knew nothing about it (name included). A police officer drives to his mothers funeral, he gets a message from his wife that she wants a divorce and accidentally hits someone with his car. He puts the body in the trunk and later hides it into his mother's coffin. The film is as black as can be. Divorces, deaths, violence... If things can go bad, they will go even worse. A hard day in life of police officer. So many things happening. When you hope he got away, you see has only fallen deeper. I totally laughed half of the film. It was so black it was almost a parody. I loved every minute of it.
Toute première fois (2015)
Why did I spent money on this?
I love French movies, and I should have waited more comments on IMDb in order not to burst my "french movies are great" bubble. Anyhow it's about a guy who is getting married soon to his boyfriend. But one morning he wakes up aside a very attractive girl. then in number of "fortunate" events she gets drown into his life and company. That provokes a ball of lies that's getting bigger with every moment. A great help with that comes out of his business partner who is a classic "I'm all about looks, but I will fall in love in someone less pretty" cliché. At some point the ball of lies brakes and truth comes out. Every character in the movie just represent a series of clichés.
Burnt (2015)
fun while it lasts
I knew it from the start. Bradley Cooper is handsome and this is where it all ends. I forgot the movie the moment I left the screening room. It was OK to watch, but it is not a movie you think about later. Maybe it was just me, maybe I wanted something more in that moment. I'm trying to write a review and it is already difficult to describe it. And I watched it 3 days ago. It did not offer anything new. Relation with Emma Thompson character (who I adore, and think she did well) have been seen so many times and it was totally clear it' going to end that way (trying not to write spoilers). Relation with Siena Miller - the same. We've seen that already. Maybe I just expected too much.

really worth seeing
I really liked it. Although my first thought was it is rather long, I read some great critics on several of my favorite sites so I decided to give it a try. 155 minutes just passed by without me noticing it. It is not heart-braking drama with cheesy happy end. It has a kind of happy end, but in a rather realistic way. It's a movie you have to think about, where you put yourself in someone's else's shoes. It speaks about the need to be loved as we are, but at the same time we want to change the others, not willing to change ourselves. Really worth seeing.
