Hellraiser (2022)
I miss the good old times
I watched this movie because of the nostalgic feeling I have towards the old movies.
A big mistake obviously. It's a insult to the old cult movie! The movie has no soul, you really don't care if the characters lives or dies. Where is Doug Bradley, I want him back!
The story has nothing to do with the original movies. Just because a movie is low budget it hasn't have to be boring. But this one is.
The storyline is worse then "I know what you did last summer". To be honest, birdemic is more entertaining than this. All should just go to rehab and forget this movie ever existed. It's a pure waist of your time.
Crimes of the Future (2022)
weird but boring
I'm a big fan of Cronenberg but this movie was too dull. Not really any interesting characters to keep me going, vague storyline. It felt extremely low budget for such huge director, green screens all the way.
Forget about this movie and re-watch Naked Lunch insted!
Free Guy (2021)
Lego the movie ripoff
Have anyone seen Lego the movie, if not its a pretty interesting thing to compare.
Anyways, its a good popcorn flick, have a look for yourself.
The True Adventures of Wolfboy (2019)
I wanted more
The movie itself is good but I feel it lacked some things as well. I wanted more from John Turturros character, by the way was he stabbed and put to a police car?
Why didn't the boy get any penalty from all what he did. The movie was great until the birthday party. I didn't want the road adventure to stop. The character of the mother was so boring, could had made her a bit more interesting.
The music choice was great and the actors played well but Somehow the movie felt short. All and all a okey movie suitable on a film festival.
Toys of Terror (2020)
Nothing new to declare
This movie had potential. But unfortunately it just goes safe and add absolutely nothing new. Old story without no fresh material or without a twist. Its so horrible acting and you can feel its all forced sentences and its just feels fake.
The only thing I really appreciated was the old style of technic that was made for moving the toys, felt like a 1980s movie, which is much better than crappy CGI.
As a swedish person I felt the most scary thing in this movie was the swedish Christmas song that was used. It gave me the chills, it was not suitable for this movie since it has nothing to do with Sweden.
The Craft: Legacy (2020)
Birdemic deserves an oscar compared to this crap
Awful plot, no content, I thought about 3 times to walk out of the theatre cause It was really a waist of time, but didnt wanna walk over my fellow watchers due to corona.
If you are 11 years old this movie might work. For an older crowd who watched the first movie its just pure crap. David Ducovnys character was horrible, no soul what so ever.
Artemis Fowl (2020)
Feels like a rip off
Warning for spoilers!
The most annoying thing about this movie is the dark unnatual Batman voices of the characters. Then I realize it feels like they took the Batman idea, a spoiled Bruce, a Butler and lots of gagets. All blend into a Harry Potter kind of movie. By the way, the troll scene is also ripped off from a old spiderman movie far from hone, check out the fire monster. So nothing new here foks, watch some other movie, dont waist your time.
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014)
Sad end of a so good start
I'm like many others a big fan of the LOTR movies, but the Hobbit series started as a cheap wannabe and ended in a disaster.
Warning for spoilers!
Not only was the Orcs totally transformed from nice makeup actors to bad animated cgi characters, they totally lost their souls as well. A small rock thrown by dwarfs easily made them fell, and in other scenes they are immortal and can breath under water. The movie felt like it was made in a rush and I could even see the glue in Dwalin's face which was suppose to hold the fake beard, I usually never pay attention to so small details but this was awful! Was the make up artist even sober?
I didn't like the acting of the major cast in this movie, the elves felt like vampires, stiff and dull. And the mayors assistant came out as a total Monty python joke, which did not fit in. The love between the elf and the dwarf should have been cut out totally, the last scene felt like it was going on forever, and it made me feel...nothing!
What was good about this movie? Well, it was good it didn't last so long as the previous ones.
