Jayeshbhai Jordaar (2022)
Message is good but...
First something good about the movie. Boman Irani is great and it's funny sometimes but that's all about it. Ranveer sounds too cheesy especially on unnecessary "kiss" issue. Movie is too long and could really use some editing. While the idea of the film is to deliver a good message in a comedic manner but the film becomes unrealistic. One time watch and easily forgettable.
State of Siege: Temple Attack (2021)
Pathetic melodrama
This movie doesn't deserve 8/10. I gave it 5 star based on the intial plot development which become increasingly unrealistic as the plot move forward. Akshay Khanna is the only worth watching, rest is garbage with the same nationalstic propaganda that has been going since Modi govt. Go watch Mimi if you want a something good!
I Am Not Okay with This (2020)
Poor writing
The idea is refreshing but the poor writing takes the soul away from the show. Lead character looked confused and doesn't make much sense for most of the show. Sophia lillis was way better in It.
Apharan (2018)
Good start but ends with unrealistic pathetic ending
Series is well paced from the beginning and keeps you engaged with interesting twists and turns. However, keeping the episode short doesn't really helps in anyways and some of dialogue in an attempt make them rhyme or sound cool looks pathetic. Direction fails badly to connect all strings in the end and becomes pathetic actually. I would recommend if you have plenty of time to kill and finished watching all the good series available.
Dark Wind (2017)
kadvi Hawa will blow your mind
Different from mainstream Indian cinema this film brings the effect of global warming in a simple yet artistically subtle settings. Sanjay Mishra has done a brilliant job and Ranveer shoray is flawless. Sets looks realistic with attention paid to minute details. With a run time of just over 90 minutes, film keep you engaged even though ending is not very unpredictable which infact shows a great job done in editing and direction. I will recommend to anyone who is interested in what comes beyond formula based bollywood cinema.
