Adorable

This is one of the first lesbian movies I've seen, and already, it's pretty hard to top. I knew Laurel Holloman from her character, Tina, on The L Word. It's refreshing to see Holloman play a butch lesbian. In this film, her quirky, spontaneous and head-strong character attracted me from the start. Randy (that's her name) and Nicole Parker's character, Evie, have great chemistry together. Somehow, their personalities clash, which proves that their love for one another is not superficial. In a way, their relationship is the perfect first love; impulsive, experimental yet passionate. I recommend this to all teenagers.

average scary movie

Warning: Spoilers
I just watched this on TV today. What really scared me was the story plot - how it was set in a theater (having the potential to make people who watch in the cinema paranoid) and the realization at the end. No one would have thought the scene in the cursed movie of the old woman getting hung was real. But honestly I felt that the trailer of this movie was scarier than itself. There were few scenes trying to "jump" at the viewers; however, they were not very effective. I thought it was clearly overdone. If you're really looking for an absolute Thai horror movie I would suggest "Shutter." That was the scariest movie I have ever seen in my life (and I'm a huge horror movie fan) - the pacing was excellent and the whole plot is just horrific yet brilliant. Disappointed by this movie? Then go watch "Shutter," and I will assure you that you won't be let down!

A good movie? Yes.

Warning: Spoilers
My favorite part of the movie was the romance between Jennifer Garner and Timothy Olyphant's character. The scene where they kissed in the garage just made my heart jump! I consider it as one of the best movie kissing scenes ever. It was hot and full of passion. Even though their romance wasn't really the main part of the story, it was the only part I really liked about the movie. Other then that it was pretty light-hearted and funny. I adore Garner's character who is humorous and not afraid to speak her mind. Olyphant's character is just... sexy and seductive. Overall this is a good movie. One of my favorites? No, not quite there yet.
