Lynch (2004)
Lynch has all the qualities a movie should have: It is visually appealing, the story is compelling, and the combination of directing, cinematography, and acting bring it to life.

Robert Conway wrote a gem of a short film. Lynch is a classic movie western story that is sure to appeal to a broad audience. His directorial choices draw the audience in from the opening scene, played out entirely in black. The first visual image is shocking and one of the most realistic hangings I have seen on film. Tain Barzso's cinematography is vivid and effective in making the story worthy of a big screen. The cast are figures that look as if they time-traveled from the 1880's, hard, rugged, dusty men fit for life, or death, in the Wild West. Lynch is Colorful, compelling, and entertaining: a fine, albeit short, example of classic movie making.
