Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend (2022)
Mostly triumphant return
From masterful camera work and joyful over-the-top performance of the Chairman, Iron Chef is back and I am celebrating! I was not the fan of Kristen Kish as a co-host on the first episode because how rigid she was but by episode two, she fully blossomed into a fantastic addition to the energy in the battle stadium, not to mention her impressive knowledge in all matters regarding food. Only complaints are how laughably underqualified the guest judges were and how Iron Chefs felt less like culinary Gods and more or less like an equal to the challengers. If they have hired the true masters of culinary world, this show would have portrayed the epic stories of David versus Goliath that the original series was celebrated for. Overall, it scratched my Iron Chef itch and I am left craving for more.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)
Perfect continuation of the original story
This is how you make a remake/sequel to a beloved franchise: With respect to and deep understanding of the original material. Thank you so much for making this film.
