NCIS: Sydney (2023)
Enjoyed the series - big cliffhanger
Despite others hating this series you need to not compare it to the other ones as it's meant to be different.
Wasn't too bad - reminded me of the New Orleans one where new distinct story each episode.
Hope another season comes as I want to know what happens!
The finale started off okay and then you were left with a cliffhanger with a main character contributing to what had taken place during the episode.
I'm definitely keen to see what happens in season, two hoping that they will actually do another season, because it would be disappointing to leave the series on such a cliffhanger, not knowing what has actually happened and the link to the baddie and one of the main characters.
The Mauritanian (2021)
Powerful film
** Possible spoilers**
This was a very powerful film with excellent performances from the main cast members.
It shows that there have been many injustices in the world with people being held without charge or evidence.
I was shocked to see that the Obama Govt appealed the Habeus decision and Mohamedou was held for a further 7 years.
The 9/11 terrorist attacks were a massive tragedy but the actions of the US Govt were atrocious.
Detective McLean (2015)
Bummed about no season 2
First series was done in 2015 and I only just became aware of it and sadly there couldn't be a season 2 without at least 1 cast change as Luke Perry passed away and could not revive his role as Tim.
Was a good show and so many unanswered questions.
The Good Fight (2017)
Love love love it!
I was a fan initially of The Good Wife but started to get bored. I always loved Christine Baranaki's character of Diane Lockwood though.
When I stumbled across The Good Fight, I was blown away.
This show is fabulous - there is emotion and humour along with some legal drama that would be expected.
The thing I love most is the writers keep things "Current" - they write about things happening in the White House and put some little videos in the episode to bring some more humour or will put a message on the screen from Apple.
Recommend watching it and can't wait for Stan to release season 4!
You (2018)
Oh my goodness, what a season!
What a season this turned out to be. On the edge right until the end it's definitely one that you will want to/end up binge-watching so be prospered.
Can be a little slow in parts but it all is well and truly worth it!
House of Cards (2013)
Still as ruthless as Frank Underwood
I was initially unsure if I would enjoy the show without Kevin Spacey because his soliloquy's were very enticing and part of what hooked me onto the show in the first place, but Robin Wright is showing herself to be just as ruthless in the role of Claire Underwood.
If you have only watched one episode, please keep watching as the story is meant to be VERY different so do not expect it to be the same as prior seasons.
There is a gap between last episode of season 5 and first episode season 6 but they seem to be slowly revealing what happened.
Absolutely loving it and can't wait to keep binge watching it!
